Initial Expectations: I’m one of the few people who Gauge doesn’t seem to do much for. I don’t know why, but for some reason I have decent expectations for this one.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is pretty good. It’s clear and nicely balanced, although there are a couple times you can hear the performers being given directions. The video is also pretty good. It’s nicely lit but just a little soft. The amount of light grain and softness vary a little through the movie, but it’s never so much as to interfere with the movie.

Music: The music has a soft and sexy feel which starts the scenes out extremely well. It’s often a bit loud, but quickly disappears as the scenes move on.

Menus: The menus are pretty good, but nothing too special. The main menu has some nice animation and gives a good first impressive. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a chapter number and a small clip of each scene.

The Feature

Gauge Unchained gives you just what you’d expect for a plot from Amazing... nothing. Each scene is independent from the others and the only thing which holds them together is Gauge.

Scene 1 - Gauge

Gauge starts things out with a slow tease in a futuristic room before gently diddling herself. She starts out with a little rub and slowly moves up to one finger, then two. She even breaks out a good sized bright pink dildo to turn loose on her twat in a couple different positions. Finally, she sucks it clean to bring things to a close.

This is a very nice way to start things out. It keeps things slow and easy, yet does a great job of showing just how sexual Gauge can be. Gauge is a performer I just can’t get too wild about, but she does a great job here and definitely had me wanting more.

Scene 2 - Gauge, Alaura Eden, and Mark Davis

Mark and Alaura start out the next scene lightly chaining Gauge, who looks quite nice in her naughty schoolgirl outfit, to a bondage cross. Mark start working on her tits while Alaura busies herself down under on both of them. They let Gauge loose to help work on Mark as Alaura works her way between them to help. Gauge sixty-nines Mark before letting Alaura take the first fuck doggie style while Alaura eats her. Alaura hops on Gauge’s face so that Gauge can get a little missionary loving, and sucks Mark’s cock a few times as he fucks Gauge. Alaura licks Gauge’s twat when Mark starts fucking Gauge’s ass, eagerly takes the ass to mouth each time it’s offered, and gives Gauge a few fingers as Mark fucks her ass. Finally, Alaura and Gauge share a nice facial.

This is a pretty hot scene. Gauge is easily the focus of the scene, which left me a bit disappointed because I really wanted to see Alaura take it in the ass, but does a good job of it. Alaura also does a great job being in a supporting role, and stays a big part of the scene while letting the focus remain on Gauge. Gauge, Alaura, and Mark all have great chemistry, and help this become a very nicely done scene.

Scene 3 - Gauge and Mark Wood

When Gauge goes in for a checkup with Dr. Mark, she insists he do it as thoroughly as possible. She guides his hands around her body and then lays back so he can taste test her twat. Gauge even has Dr. Mark put her through his suction test on her knees before climbing up for a little reverse and standard cowgirl action. They keep it going through a little missionary before Gauge finishes things with a nice facial.

This is a good scene, but seemed a bit long for me. Gauge and Mark have good chemistry, but his moaning made it seem like he was going to pop for the last five minutes of the scene. From the looks of it Gauge probably had him about to pop for that long, but it did make the scene drag on a bit for me.

Scene 4 - Gauge and Sylvio

Gauge hooks up with black Sylvio at a bar in the next scene. She puffs on a cig while he explores her body before sliding down to mouth his mammoth meat. She gives Sylvio a good oral going-over until he gives her a small pop of joy juice.

This is an okay scene. Gauge does a good job of working Sylvio over orally, and I think my biggest problem here was that I didn’t expect it to be an oral scene. When it ended I was thinking there was still plenty to go, and felt disappointed because of it. Sylvio’s pop was also a disappointment, which didn’t help me get past this just being an oral scene.

Scene 5 - Gauge, Ramona Luv, Daisy, and Sabrine Maui

When Gauge and the girls find themselves locked in a room in the basement, they decide to pass the time as every drunken fratboy would hope they would. Gauge pairs up with Sabrine while Daisy and Ramona hook up so they can switch down and explore each other a little. The girls work each other over before trading so that Daisy can get a taste of Gauge while Sabrine tongues Ramona. They move around one more time as the toys come out so that everybody can have a little of everybody else, with Ramona giving Gauge a glass dildo while Sabine fucks Daisy with a strap on. Finally the girls finish things up sucking on their toys as the camera fades out.

This is a pretty good scene. The girls move around nicely and it has a nice ethnic flavor. There’s also plenty of energy, but something just didn’t work in it for me. Maybe it was that Gauge got lost in the group and maybe it was that I had a bit too high of hopes for the scene due to some of the girls in it. Several of the camera angles seemed just a little off to me. This is a decent scene, but left me slightly disappointed.

Scene 6 - Gauge, Alex Sanders, and Brian Surewood

Gauge starts the final scene dancing in a strip joint for Alex and Brian who are comfortably seated down in sniffer’s row. After deciding she’s teased them enough, Gauge slides forward so Brian can start working on her undercarriage. She invites Alex to join them when he returns with a drink, and takes his cock into her mouth the first chance she gets. Gauge lets Brian fuck her from behind before riding Alex cowgirl style, and then lets the guys each have a turn in her ass. Of course this leads to Gauge getting a double penetration, which she takes with ease. Finally, Gauge takes a double facial to bring things to a close.

This is yet another very nice scene. Gauge takes on both Brian and Alex with ease, and never seems the least bit uncomfortable as they work her over. The entire flow of the scene seems natural, and the double penetration seems like a natural ending for the scene. This is a very good way to close the movie.

Whenever I see Gauge I can’t help but think about the joke somebody made about hearing a Southern accent and automatically subtracting at least fifty IQ points. That might be part of why Gauge has never stuck in my mind as a great performer despite her obvious sexuality. Gauge Unchained might just fix that. No, she doesn’t see how nasty she can get by trying to do triple anals with midgets in the middle of a trailer park jungle gym, but she does do a fantastic job of showing that she’s a great sexual performer. She does it all here, taking vaginal, anal, and double penetrations as well as a solo scene and an oral scene, and makes it all seem natural for her. She seems to enjoy it all, and brings plenty of energy and chemistry to the scenes. The scenes didn’t all work for me, but the variety and ease that Gauge exhibits throughout the movie makes Gauge Unchained a winner and a must have for every Gauge fan out there.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Metro’s DVDs can be found online for between $12 and $25 with most stores offering them for around $20. If you’re a Gauge fan, this one’s going to be worth it even at the high end. The sex is hot and has a nice variety. The technical aspects are also pretty good. The only real problem with this DVD is that there isn’t really anything for extras.

Note to Metro: An extra or two here would be nice. Gauge is one of your biggest names for contract stars, and because of that the lack of extras made this DVD a little disappointing. It would have been great to have a short interview with Gauge or a bonus scene with one of her earlier Metro scenes.
