Ultimately, I would say this disk is worth it for Jasmine Rose's scene, which I rate a 5 in all respects. The performances in this collection are varied, but there's generally a level of engagement on the part of the women that is nice to see (with some exceptions). The men are not stand-out (again with a couple exceptions).

This DVD has each different scene distinctly marked so that viewers can easily choose or skip a given scenario. Having seen another collection like this that forces the viewer to fast-forward through the whole thing with no ability to jump scene to scene, this was very much appreciated. The menu is very basic, but serves its purpose in allowing you to "choose your girl." The audio/video quality varies from scene to scene, sometimes forcing you to turn it up to hear anything, and sometimes forcing you to turn it down to lessen the slightly rubbery sounds of an extremely close-up blowjob.

Gauge herself is seen in three scenes, wherein she is alternately tuned in and turned on or tuned out and turned off. When she's turned on, she does some good dirty talk and directing of what will happen. When she's turned off, it is disheartening to see her perform, though she does seem to have "natural talent" and a beautiful, small, and curvy body. Knowing that she can be very engaged and sexy, asking for more with enthusiasm, it is far less interesting for me to see her look a little bored (probably less interesting for her, too!).

Bridgette Powerz is hot in her scene and appears to love being fucked, though she is paired with a man I found very unappealing (see my description of Nikita Denise's scene below for more on him). It was good to see a scene with a little performer (Ms. Powerzz) that didn't overly fetishize her size.

The absolute gem of this DVD is Jasmine Rose's scene with Nacho Vidal and Randy West. I've scene Jasmine and Nacho perform together in "The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women" (Evil Angel), and they show once again in "Gauge" how completely hot they are together. It is clear that they know each other well, that they trust each other, and that they really, really like to fuck. The third man in this scene is a nice compliment to Nacho and Jasmine's intensity; the heat is by far most evident between Nacho and Jasmine. They maintain lots of eye contact, talk dirty to each other in Spanish and english, and generally give it their enthusiastic all, including wonderful-to-see orgasms on Jasmine's part. Personally, I like Nacho's animalistic approach to fucking, and Jasmine clearly comes from the same ilk. It can be very intense, but seeing them claw at each other a bit is precisely what lets me know they are "in it to win it." It is particularly nice to see a scene with two men and one woman where the goal isn't to fill as many of her holes as possible, but rather to turn her on with intense focus.

Leanni Lei stars in a scene with a long-haired stereotype of a romance novel cover man, and his enthusiasm for going down on her is a real turn-on. Her low-key tremors and bucking in response to his tongue while he fingers her as she sits on his face is hot. They proceed to have a fun, hard, short fuck session, which I enjoyed almost entirely except for her long red nails (scary nails near beautiful parts!). The music in this scene is heavy and silly synth.

Nikita Denise's scene is depressing. She is a beautiful and sexy woman, but she is paired with a man who is simply not appealing in the least. Though he is not a handsome man, this is not the problem. Rather, he is too unenthusiastic to get me excited. He is also seen in the other scenes from Dirty Debutantes in the collection, and is a real detraction and distraction from the beautiful women.

There is a faux lesbian scene between two very femme women. They do appear to give it their all and like to fool around with each other, but there is the common turn-off of their long nails when they finger each other.
