Gangbang Girl 7 & 8 Review

Review:
An early entry (or couple of entries, depending upon how one views it) in Anabolic's storied gangbang series of the 1990's, Gangbang Girl 7 and 8 starring the impeccably stunning starlet of the era, Selena Steele, ultimately ends up being something of a mixed bag.

To explain: There is no doubt that Selena Steele is an onscreen firecracker whose performances (rightly) landed her in the industry's Hall of Fame and that she continues this trend here by performing enthusiastically throughout this release. Further, the very fact that someone of Ms. Steele's caliber/stature is even in a dirty, dick-filled gangbang of the time is a treat in and of itself. Indeed, she is awesome, and she is up for a boatload of cock from start to finish across all four of this production's scenes (...which include a TV game show set, a dinner party, a warehouse, and an adult theater setting, by the way). This key ingredient--that of the actress herself--is spot on and will make this one worth checking out for any of her fans. (This reviewer included...)

But...there are multiple ways in which this flick falls short, some of them frustrating enough to hinder the work itself. For instance, the old notion of gangbangs being mostly a bunch of guys standing around jerking off--trying to get wood--while one dude lays (or attempts to lay) some pipe is very real here. There are some serious wood issues at a variety of points along the way, and many of the guys leave a lot to be desired. Further, Selena is wearing way too much clothing for far too much of the festivities. Not fully showing off her prime-peak body seems almost criminal. Additionally, the plot--which more or less involves a balding TV producer finding the ultimate gangbang girl and putting her through her paces...at least as best can be told--is nearly obliterated by the overbearing (and mind-numbingly repetitive/boring) musical score that rolls over the top of much of the proceedings. And so on...

As a caveat, it should be noted that this release was relatively early on in the progression of the big gangbang films as a genre unto their own, so some slack is warranted. Moreover, there are some hot moments embedded within all of this, as well--Selena playing with cum on of a dinner plate, fucking for an audience in the theater, taking facials, pounding out some BBC, and so on. That said--and even with a bit more effort or forethought--things could most certainly be better, and there were much better offerings released...even back in the earlier days.

Recommendation: Selena Steele fans will want to check this out if for no other reason than she's in multiple gangbangs (...hence, a generous three stars). Otherwise, it's probably a pass.
