The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is nicely done. It’s pretty clear and well balanced. It feels a little aged, but doesn’t have major problems like background noises. The video also feels a little aged. It’s nicely lit, but there is a little grain. There isn’t any major camera problems like soft focus blurs or camera shake, but you do see the cameraman pop in now and then, sometimes in reflections.

Music: There’s cheesy porno music throughout the feature. Thankfully it doesn’t interfere too bad and is nicely balanced with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The menus are pretty lackluster. The main menu has a still with a little bit of the movie going in a small box. The chapter menu lets you choose between the two scens and cumshot recaps.

The Feature

The Gangbang Girl series has a long running formula. Every movie has two scenes, and a little story to lead into each scene. One scene has one girl getting gangbanged and the other scene has two girls getting gangbanged.

Scene 1 - Tricia Devereaux, Chloe, Bobby Vitale, Ian Daniels, Julian StJox, Marc Davis, Mickey, Micky Ray, Mr. Marcus, Marc Wallice, Sean Michaels, Vince Voyeur, Wilde Oscar

After going to church like a good girl, Chloe hooks up with her friend Tricia and talks a little about her relationship problems (namely, the lack of one). This is a great gangbang scene. Chloe and Tricia both play the girl next door role perfectly, and it adds a lot of sexuality to the scene. I also like the nice mix of acting and reality for the girl’s personalities. Chloe was a wonderfully friendly person when I met her, but the shy innocence just isn’t her. The personality that comes out of Tricia, however, seemed just like her and definitely put a smile on my face. Beyond that, there’s the sex, which is great. The girls take on the guys and make it all look fun and easy. The camera captures it nicely and does a good job of moving back and forth between the girls so that they don’t overshadow each other. I’m not a big gangbang fan, but I really liked this one.

Scene 2 - Missy, Bobby Vitale, Ian Daniels, Marc Davis, Mickey G., Micky Ray, Vince Voyeur, Woody Long, Wilde Oscar

Missy hasn’t been at her new nursing job too long before the doctors decide she needs to be initiated. I was a little bummed that she didn’t take the double penetration, but she put so much into the rest of the scene that I really couldn’t complain. I love the cum play at the end with the condoms and syringe, and wish that more people would try to put that kind of creativity into their movies. This is a great solo gangbang scene.

Gangbang Girl 17 is a very hot movie and definitely shows why it’s considered the best gangbang series around. The sex is darn hot and the girls all get into it extremely well. Tricia and Chloe take the DP’s with ease, and Missy puts so much energy into her scene that I really have no clue when she started taking it up the ass. The scenes never get mean spirited, and often keep a fun feeling with a little humor. I think the only complaint I can have about the movie is that I really wish that Missy’s scene would have gone on a bit longer and that she would have taken a double penetration. Those are pretty minor gripes, and I sure hope that nobody passes on this movie because of them. Gangbang Girl 17 is a great gangbang movie and well worth checking out.

The Extra Stuff

The A-side of the DVD contains weblinks and an okay looking photo gallery lasting about a minute and a quarter with about four seconds per full screen photo or snapshot. Many of the photos can be seen right on the boxcover. The B-side of the DVD includes trailers for about twenty of Anabolic’s releases.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Anabolic’s DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $25, with many stores offering them near the high end. This one’s worth it at the lower end. The sex is hot and nicely done. The technical aspects are a little weak, but are pretty good for the age of the movie. Sadly, there’s virtually no effort put into the extras.

Note to Anabolic: I know that this is one of your older releases, so I won’t complain about the lack of extras too much. It’s been a long time since I’ve checked out your DVDs, so I hope you’ve improved them since this one was released.
