I've been very impressed with what I've seen of Kayden Kross behind the camera, and Games We Play only makes me all the more impressed with her as a director. The setups are very nicely done, and there's never a shortage of style to them. Unlike many other directors out there, the style feeds into the overall scene to make it not only feel unique, but works with the sexuality of the scene to kick it up a notch right from the beginning. I really love the opening with Tyler teasing Ashley as she tries to put on a presentation with the naughty look in his eye, and Ashley plays her frustration to a T. It really leads into her dominating and teasing him with Tyler tied up amazingly well, and the dark lighting and location make it all the hotter. The role reversal is done every bit as well, and there's no shortage of chemistry between Ashley and Tyler. Angela's scene with Markus isn't always a comfortable one, but it's fucking amazing and shows just how talented the Aussie beauty is. She and Markus turn out a terrific fuck, but it's her acting that really shines here as she stays wonderfully in character as a woman scorned by the man she loves from start to finish. I can't think of the last time I've seen any performer whether it's in porn or mainstream, walk the thin line between love and hate as well as she does it here. Finally there's Alexa's scene with Markus, and it definitely finishes things on a high note. He puts out another great intense fuck, and Alexa seems to feed on it from start to finish. I'll admit that I was expecting an added role playing twist of Alexa being his wife at the end of the scene, and I'm not sure if that would have made it even hotter or not. This is a great scene to end the movie with. From start to finish, Games We Play is nothing short of an amazing release. I know it's awfully early to start thinking about awards season, as we're just tapering off at the end of the current season, but Games We Play easily has me thinking of not just best release and director nominations, but for best scenes as well. This is another amazing release from Kayden Kross and TRENCHCOATx that's more than worth the purchase.
