The Game of Sex is Tarantino XXX's take on apparently anything mainstream kung fu-ish in what can only be considered an all sex movie. An opening card tells you that in a Chinese temple the greatest fighters come together for rigorous one-on-one training. Don't let this fool you into thinking there is a plot of any sort upcoming, or anything that could actually be considered a parody by any means. After the opening card comes four sex scenes without any plotting or non-sexual footage of any sort.

Why Tarantino XXX didn't just make this an all sex movie is beyond me. The first scene, as the viewer will find out later when watching the end credits, apparently was supposed to be a mashup of Bruce Lee and Mortal Kombat bringing us the characters Broose Lee (Tarantino XXX) and Kittana (Sheena Ryder). Don't worry, this isn't important as the only time you really know that this is supposed to be an actual parody is at the end of the sex scene when “Finish Her!” flashes on the screen briefly just before the cum shot. There is no real point to the “Finish Her!” since no one really knows what the hell is being “spoofed” by the movie until the end credits.

Up next is a mashup of Kill Bill and something with The Bride (Laela Pryce) and Hakeem (Chris Cock). A brief reminder that this is apparently a parody movie appears when “Fight!” appears at the beginning of the scene and with The Bride's attire. Again, there is no need to worry about a plot getting in the way of the sex as both cast members are disrobed and fucking rather fast with no attempt at any sort of plotting or dialog. The third scene features Colt (Dominick Flynt), from who knows what, and Angelina Chung as the school girl. The final scene brings us Lucy Loo (Gaia), not O-Ren Ishii for who knows what reason, with Broose Lee returning again.

The original version of the movie had a fifth scene with Dominik Kross (as Jack Burten) and Pamela Balain (as Sonya B.) that has been removed from the final cut version although their names have not been excised completely from the credits.

The sex scenes aren't bad. There is a lot of gagging on cocks during the sex scenes, so if that is your thing, the heat of the sex scenes will obviously be higher. The participants all seem to be enjoying themselves through each scene. The editing for the scenes could have been a little tighter as they are a little on the long side. Overall, the sex scenes are fun to watch.

The technical details in the movie are lacking. The entire movie takes place in one room, likely a hotel room by the looks of it, with the same cheap dressing on it. Plastic can be seen on the floor. There is a definite lack of camera angles within the movie and editing as well.

Despite the cheapness of the set, the movie isn't bad sex-wise. Anyone actually hoping for a parody will be sorely disappointed. However, for viewers looking for an all sex movie, The Game of Sex is decent and might be worth a look. I would rent before buying, though.

The edition of The Game of Sex reviewed is the streaming version available from TarantinoXXX.com. The version reviewed is the final cut version according to Tarantino XXX, which contains different scenes than the other streaming versions that are available on Adult DVD Empire, AEBN, HotMovies, and Game Link. The original edition of The Game of Sex, which had a run time of 98 minutes, had an additional sex scene with Dominik Kross and Pamela Balain. This scene is not present in the final cut version, which has a shorter run time due to the missing scene.

The Game of Sex is presented in the anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1 and is available on TarantinoXXX.com in 1080p, 720p, 480p, and 240p. The image looks good with good color reproduction and no noticeable blemishes during the presentation. There is a bug in the lower right corner of the screen that consists of a yellow box with Tarantino XXX inside.

The Game of Sex is presented with an English Stereo audio track, which works fine for the material being presented. There doesn't appear to be any issues with the audio that aren't that way due to the original audio master tracks.

TarantinoXXX.com hasn't included any extras for the release. It would have been nice if the cut sex scene, that had been in the original version, was included as an extra to go along with the movie if the viewer decided to want to watch it.

The Game of Sex appears at first to be a parody of anything kung fu, however, it is not. In reality, the movie is an all sex adult movie that has a few brief seconds of parody attempts but not one bit of plot. As far as the movie goes as an all sex venture, it falls about average. The technical details are a little lacking, however, the sex scenes are enjoyable. Tarantino XXX hasn't included any extras for their release.
