Initial Expectations: I've heard great things about this one and normally have been impressed by Jonni Darkko's work. I can't help going into this one high expectations.

Initial Reaction: Although there's a couple sequences that didn't do much for me, I can't deny that this is a great fuck flick that all fans of Gianna need to check out.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very well done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and the music works in and out of the scenes very well. The video is a little artistic and presented in the full frame format. There's almost a hint of grain to the action, and some natural light is used very skillfully to enhance the scenes rather than interfere with them. There's a touch of camera motion, but it never feels intrusive or like it's interfering with the action. This is a very good looking and sounding release.

Music: The music, which was also done by Jonni Darkko, is extremely well done and definitely adds to the movie. It has a sexy techno feel, and varies from being nonexistent to being the only audio while also mixing in some varied balances with the rest of the audio. It's very rare to hear music being handled as well as it is here.

Menus: The main menu nicely works together some cool animation with a great clip of Gianna for a fantastic first impression. Since the movie revolves around Gianna, rather than letting you know who's in each scene it lets you choose a scene based on a clip and what's happening in the scene sexually, which is a very nice touch.

The Feature

John Leslie may have thought that he knew what he had with Veronica daSouza: Some Piece of Ass and knows that one doesn't need a big cast for a movie since with Naomi... There's Only One. Jonni Darkko, however, knows that there's G For Gianna, and he's going to take nine scenes to show you why it's his current favorite letter in the alphabet.

Scene 1 – Gianna

Gianna starts things out touching up her lips and makeup in front of a mirror with a black mesh tube top above a white zip up corset and black panties. This is a well done scene, but it just didn't work for me that well.

Part of the reason it works as well as it does for me is Jonni's camera work and the way the music haunts the background, but I think the bigger reason is the fantastic chemistry between the girls. There's plenty of great looks once again, and the girls are nicely vocal without going overboard. This is a very hot scene that worked far better for me than I would have expected.

Scene 9 – Candace Von, Gianna, Julius Caezher, and Mario Rossi

Gianna starts out the final scene in a sexy black striped outfit with stockings and a little white trim playing to the camera. Also once again, however, the chemistry is strong enough that I couldn't help but be completely pulled into the scene. This is another smoking hot scene and a great end for the movie.

G For Gianna is a damn good fuck flick. Gianna looks fantastic throughout the movie, and takes everything Jonni throws at her with ease and beauty. Jonni gets plenty of credit here as well, not just for his camera work (which is fantastic as always) but for the variety he puts forward. The action never really gets nasty, but he works in plenty of fetishes. Feet, tits, light bondage, oral, most everything except for Gianna taking it in the ass is included here. For this reason, Jonni Darkko once again turns out a movie that has the potential to work as well for couples who don't want to deal with porn stars trying to read lines and understand a plot as well as somebody who's just looking for something to help him give himself a hand. While a couple of the scenes might not have worked for me, at the same time they're done well enough that I can watch them and know that it's my personal kinks that are making the scene not work for me and not anything that Gianna or Jonni are doing that's causing it. Once again, the Evil Empire has shown that when they focus on a girl for a movie, like John Leslie did with Veronica daSouza and Naomi over the last couple years, you better pay attention. G For Gianna is another fantastic fuck flick and one that must be seen by any fan of Gianna.

The behind the scenes footage lasts nearly seventeen minutes and starts off with Gianna giving a little pep talk for watching the movie. It moves on with a few outtakes with strap-on and outfit problems, as well as a quick shave and a few flashes of action playing around the set. It works as a great addition to the movie, and does a very nice job focusing on Gianna's personality while mixing in a little fun from the movie being shot. Although it keeps the focus on Gianna rather than mixing in comments from Jonni and the rest of the cast, it works here just because the movie is all about Gianna. The behind the scenes featurette is every bit as good as the movie.

The movie has a fantastic variety with plenty of heat and is very well done. The technical aspects show some great care, and there's also some nice care put into the extras. This is a very well done DVD that's definitely worth checking out.
