Initial Expectations: Stormy Daniels has had a great track record behind the camera, and I can't see that changing here.

Initial Reaction: The sex is good, but with scenes this familiar it never gets to where it feels it should despite a nice bump from being condom-free sex.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects show some very nice care. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice any background noises. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks very nice. It's very clear with smooth camera work and very nice care put into the lighting.

Music: The music is very nicely done. It has a great balance with the rest of the audio and a style that works well for the sex

Menus: The main menu is a bit bland, and blends the boxcover with a touch of fairly generic animation. The chapter menu, as usual with Wicked, shows very little effort and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a scene number instead of giving something useful like the name(s) of the girl(s) in each scene.

The Feature

Some subjects just seem to be forbidden. The elementary school teacher, the cheerleader, the real estate agent. Stormy Daniels tackles these subjects and more in this release.

This is a smoking hot opening scene as well as one of my favorites in the movie.

Dirty blonde Daryn knows that with just a word or a gesture she can make any guy cream his shorts as the captain of the cheerleader squad, including geeky waterboy Scott. This is a pretty good scene. Daryn looks good in her cheerleader outfit and does a nice job of taking on Scott and his big dick. That said, it's not handled as well as the opening scene and comes off as a touch cliche. I wanted to like this scene, but it seemed a little too average.

It moves along at a very nice pace, and Eva easily matches Evan's energy as he takes her on. This scene shows a great sense of style and ended up as one of my favorites in the movie because of it.

Brunette Tyla brings a fresh pie out of the oven and delivers a piece to her hubby who waves her off without so much of a glance. Since he doesn't want it, she brings in gardeners Mark and Mr. Pete to sample her pie, and not the one on the plate right in front of her hubby as he continues to bury his face in the paper. This is a hot final scene. Tyla does a great job taking on both guys, and the progression up to the DP and anal action was very nicely handled. The action is well captured, and fits in nicely with the overall theme of the movie. This is a good scene to close the movie.

Forbidden is a pretty hot fuck flick that seems all too familiar. Stormy Daniels shows her skill behind the camera through a nice all sex journey through taboo subjects such as teachers, cheerleaders, and housewives, and uses a nice cast to do so. The action is well captured and filled with chemistry, and the cast does a nice job from start to finish with Stormy really standing out above the pack in her opening scene as well as Daryn not quite keeping up with the rest in her cheerleader scene. Therein lies some of the problem with Forbidden. Part of what made Stormy's scene unique is that it was the teacher getting it on with the janitor instead of a student, which gave it a touch of distance from some of the typical porn themes. With the exception of Eva's scene, which has some very nice style, the rest of the movie doesn't have that much distance, and because of it the movie starts to drift into too much familiarity for the subjects to be considered anything close to forbidden. Taken on their own the scenes here are all well above average, with some of the scenes being extremely hot, but as sadly happens at times the total isn't quite the sum of its parts. Add in that Forbidden doesn't even last an hour and a half and it becomes a little more disappointing. The only thing that really seems Forbidden is that it's a condom-free Wicked release. I fully support performers being able to choose whether condoms are used or not in their scenes rather than being forced one way or another, and seeing that forbidden barrier broken here is easily the best thing about this release. Forbidden has some decent things going for it, but still ends up being just good instead of great.

The Extra Stuff

Trailers are included for Forbidden, Dirty Minds, Reinvented, Operation: Tropical Stormy, The Lifestyle, Predator 3: The Final Chapter, and Whack Job. The photo gallery lasts just under three minutes with about six seconds per good looking snapshot. There's also promo materials, a bonus scene, and commercials.

Currently, many Wicked DVDs can be found online for between about $19 and $25 with most stores offering them somewhere in the middle. Rent this one first or aim a bit low. There's some hot sex here, but it's often familiar and the entire movie doesn't even last an hour and a half. The technical aspects are nicely done, but the extras don't have anything unique about them. Forbidden is a decent fuck flick that's all too familiar.

Note to Wicked Pictures: If your movie doesn't even last an hour and a half, please put a little more effort into the extras in the future.
