What You Need to Know: Flying Solo blends masturbation scenes with conversations on masturbation. Each scene starts out with a little tease and the girls stripping down before breaking things up with Erica McLean chatting with each girl about sex and masturbation. After they chat, the girls masturbate while also talking a bit about their technique and what works for them and why. This personal approach with each of the girls opens things up to a nice mix of toy usage and natural toy-free play, as well as a touch of anal play, but always results in some nice orgasms for the ladies. Even though others do it s well, as usual Cytherea stands out with her squirting (which she does repeatedly) and is followed by by Nicki Hunter squirting as well after Cytherea's scene cuts off. Nicki really shines in her scene, and easily came out as one of my favorites just due to how well her narration about masturbation blended with the masturbation with Sunny Lane coming out near the top for the exact same reason. For some of the girls, such as Sasha and Emy, they seemed to go back and forth between playing and instructing, while Nicki's scene was perfectly integrated between the two. Shayla and Megan also did nice jobs, and started out with a nice bit of chatting before focusing on the masturbation. Flying Solo is definitely not your typical solo release, and although it isn't the most consistent release out there it does have a lot going for it and worked well for me because of it.

Extras: Trailers (12:32), photo gallery (5:04), weblinks, and commercials. There's also a behind the scenes featurette lasting a little over a half hour and featuring plenty of extra chatting with the cast as well as a bit more eye candy.

Verdict: If you want solo action with a more personal touch and feel, this one's well worth picking up.
