Initial Expectations: The original Flash was okay. I’m not really expecting anything more than that here.

Initial Reaction: It’s pretty good.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting nastiness or heavy art direction

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and although the audio is heavily balanced towards the music it works for the style of the movie. The video is also nicely done. It sometimes has a soft look and frequently has some fast editing which once again works well for the style of the feature. There aren’t any noticeable shadows or camera motion that interferes with the action.

Music: The music has a heavy dance feel. It’s often on the loud side of things, but it seems right for the style of the movie.

Menus: The main menu is nicely worked around a bit of the movie without really getting into the action. The chapter menu has an okay style, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene.

The Feature

Although it may add ten pounds, the camera never lies. Yes, Gina is the photographer whose subjects all seem to get it on in front of her camera. It’s not a new idea, but one that works fine to set up plenty of sex scenes as Club’s Flash series continues to roll on.

Scene 1 - Gina Lynn, Jezebelle Bond, and Tommy Gunn

Jezebelle, with her hair short and dark and wearing a cute little pink checkered number with black accents, poses for Gina on and around some hay bales. She’s joined by “cowboy” Tommy, and starts him off orally before Gina joins in to help with a little spit and throat action. Jezebelle lets Tommy take her doggie style before Gina guides her up and down in reverse cowgirl. Gina gives Jezebelle a nice view of her ass as she rides Tommy cowgirl style before getting on all fours and letting him take her from behind while Jezebelle lies back and lets Gina play with her a little. This is a pretty good scene. There’s nice chemistry all around and the scene moves along pretty well. There’s a little interaction between the girls, but it never gets as strong as something I’d call lesbian action. Overall, I think the only thing that really held the scene back was the lack of position changes being shown. This is a pretty good start to the movie.

Scene 2 - Felix Vicious and Travis Knight

Gina watches her real life man take on smoking hot Felix, wearing nice black vinyl bra, shorts, and boots for the second scene. They grope their way around each other before Felix is stripped down and Travis lets his tongue warm up her pussy with a little help from his fingers. He sits back in a chair so Felix can return the favor and warm him up with her great oral skills, and then lets her impale her cunt on his cock reverse cowgirl style. This is a pretty hot scene. Once again, the action is a little limited by having only two positions, but there’s great chemistry between Felix and Travis that helps the scene to rise far above where it would have ended for most people. There’s some really great looks between them, and it helped to make this scene a winner for me. This is a passionate and hot scene.

Scene 3 - Gina Lynn and Brittney Skye

After bottle blonde Brittney poses for Gina, Gina heads off to get a little something more for her. She returns with a jackrabbit style vibe, which they play with orally and titty fuck each other with. It doesn’t take long before Gina’s banging Brittney’s beaver with the toy both in missionary and doggie, with a short break in between so they can both sample her juices from the toy. This is another pretty hot scene. Once again, there’s nothing too special but there is some nice chemistry to help the scene rise past where it feels like it should end up. The scene feels a bit limited due to Gina only getting one real position with the toy and the action being so heavily weighted towards the toys, but the girls look like they’re enjoying themselves and that makes all the difference here. This was another enjoyable scene.

Scene 4 - Melissa Lauren and Mario Rossi

Melissa, who’s still in her blonde mode here, starts her scene off leading masked slave Mario in on a leash and telling how a good slave listens and tries to please its master. After a few solo poses, Melissa drops down to mouth Mario’s manhood and then slides her twat over his cock reverse cowgirl style. Melissa bends over to take it doggie style next before lying back for a little missionary work. Finally, Melissa takes a nice facial to finish things up.

This is a pretty good scene, but it doesn’t quite stand up to the other scenes. Melissa and Mario go at it pretty good, but it’s missing the passionate spark that helped the other scenes to rise above the ordinary and mundane to be something special. The bondage theme definitely had potential, but I couldn’t help but be a little disappointed by this scene after how good the previous three scenes were.

Scene 5 - Avena Lee and Talon

Brunette Avena starts out in a flowered outfit working on Talon orally as Gina snaps her pictures. She quickly gets into her cocksucking and aggressively attacks his tallywhacker before bouncing on it reverse cowgirl style. Avena lets Talon take her from behind next, before they finish things up with some spooning and a facial.

This is a nice final scene. The chemistry quickly comes out as Avena sucks Talon’s cock, and it never lets up through the scene. They both put in some nice energy, and for a change, Talon didn’t seem like he’d rather be on the receiving end of a cock. This is a nice scene to bring things to a close with.

Flash 2 is a very nice sequel to pretty average original movie. The setup for the movie is more than a little generic, but the cast helps it to rise above the mundane with some nice energy and plenty of chemistry. Gina easily shows why she’s the cover girl and why Club saw fit to make her to a contract. Her two scenes are easily two of the best in the movie, but the only one that really drags is Melissa’s scene with Mario which was just missing a bit of the spark that made the rest of the movie so good. Flash 2 isn’t anything unique, but it does show that sometimes doing something common very well is better than doing something unique mediocre.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts a little under three minutes with about six seconds per very nice snapshot or full screen photo. There’s also a behind the scenes featurette and Club Extras.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about seventeen minutes. It nicely mixes up interviews with the cast and behind the scenes video with music. Felix and Travis start out talking about working with each other for the first time and what Felix hopes for in the scene. Gina chats with Jezebelle next, where they chat about some of their fun out in Tampa. Tommy joins them to talk about still being a newbie and being form the east coast. Gina briefly chats with Brittney next about loving to fuck both guys and girls before the video cuts to some of Brittney’s scene from the original Flash. She chats with Avena next about how she and Talon are favorites for each other and how they’re both ready to fuck. Finally, Gina talks with Melissa before she chats about being known for rough sex. This is a nicely done behind the scenes featurette that mixes things up nicely and gives you a good look at both the making of the movie and the people involved with it.

Club Extras lasts over twenty minutes. It mostly focuses on Gina posing for still photos. She talks a little about posing at Ozfest with guys afraid to touch her breasts. You get to hear her get all the directions as she poses, which of course means you get plenty of eye candy as well. She talks about being a Club contract girl and doing at least four layouts a year as well as a bit of video work. It’s nothing too deep, but if you’re a Gina Lynn fan it’s definitely worth checking out.

Currently, Club Magazine’s DVDs can be found online for between about $17 and $25 with most stores offering them around the $20 mark. This is a bit high here, but if you’re a couple looking for something passionate without the plot you could do a heck of a lot worse. The sex is nicely done and has a decent variety without getting nasty. The technical aspects are nicely done, and there’s some good care put into the extras (especially if you’re a Gina Lynn fan). This is a nicely done DVD.

Note to Club Magazine: It’s great to see you picking things up here. I’m actually hoping for a Flash 3 after this installment!
