Initial Expectations: Elegant Angel seems to have one of the best handles on fetish as a company out there right now. I'm really looking forward to this one, especially since the cast is almost completely new to me.

Initial Reaction: It has a couple decent scenes, but overall is pretty average and nothing too special.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is clear and decently balanced, but there are some areas which are noticeably dubbed in. The video is pretty hit or miss. It's normally nicely lit, but there are a few shadows which work pretty well. There's also a touch of pixelation that didn't work as well, and some very noticeable camera motion. The technical aspects are above average, but not by much.

Music: There's a little hard porno music to set apart the scenes. It's generic and doesn't really add anything to the movie.

Menus: The main menu very nicely brings together a bit of the boxcover and a bit of the movie for a very good first impression. The chapter menu is also very nicely done, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and the name of the girls in it.

The Feature

Apparently if you touch yourself too much as a barely legal girl, you might get sent to the Fetish Finishing School to get straightened out. There you'll be dressed in fetishy outfits and have sex with other girls to somehow cure you.

Scene 1 – Lady Jade and Shanna Ryder

The scene moves along pretty good for its length, and ends up an above average opening outing.

Scene 2 – Cute Angie and Zeina Heart

This is a decently done scene that worked very well for me. I'll admit it, with Zeina Heart here I have a very hard time being objective. That was enough to give me wood that wouldn't quit here despite the camera work being very jumpy and amateurish. The scene is also fairly generic and it seemed wrong to end it with the girls misbehaving and not getting any punishment. That said, Zeina didn't leave me enough blood above my shoulders to let these things hold this scene back for me. This was easily my favorite scene in the movie.

Scene 3 – Jamie James, Katrina B., and Sarah

The scene nicely moves up a notch when she joins them, and but the chemistry does falter a little in the scene. It also stumbles a little as it takes on a feeling of each person getting a turn and then having the scene end. That said, there's also some decent enjoyment in the scene and the girls do look pretty hot. This scene was pretty good, but a bit of a roller coaster ride.

Scene 4 – Cute Angie and Jamie James

Beyond the shower, this scene just felt generic with slightly below average camera work. By the time this scene ended, I could have cared less about either girl.

Scene 5 – Emmanuelle, Kelly Summer, Lady Jade, and Shanna Ryder

Brunette Emmanuelle starts out the final scene lying back on a mattress as blonde Kelly and brunettes Lady Jade and Shanna make their way around her body. My bigger problem was that by now I just couldn't get over Rod Vicious's limitations as a director, cameraman, and editor. This scene ended the movie on a low note for me.

Fetish Finishing School has nice potential and rarely seems to do anything with it. I love the idea of an all girl movie set around a finishing school with fetish touches, but the movie never really goes farther with fetish than the costumes and a set or two. There's no real spanking, and the domination aspects are mild at best. Vicious's faults don't end there, as the camera work is average at best, having a few good angles and then not knowing how to move around smoothly so that you don't really notice the camera work. Yes, there are people out there who can move the camera and let you know about it without throwing you out of the scene, but Vicious and his little helpers aren't among those people. It builds on the amateurish feeling that's started by the fairly generic feeling and makes the movie's inadequacies all the more noticeable. The only thing that really stood out about the movie was the always lovely Zeina Heart, who turned out a fun performance that's easily the movie's best even though it falls far short of where a fetish scene seems like it should be. Fetish Finishing School peaks with the second scene, and sadly goes downhill ever after.

The Extra Stuff

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about eight and a quarter minutes and features camera work that appears to have been done by somebody who drank a case of cough syrup before coming to work each day. I'm not sure, but one might have gotten steadier camera work attaching a camera to one of the dogs that some porn girl always brings to the set. It captures outtakes from the scenes as well as Vicious telling the girls what he wants, having the girls pose for stills, and the girls just hanging out and having fun. Sadly, unless you speak French (yes, Fetish Finishing School appears to have been made in Canada's asshole) you're barely going to understand a word. This behind the scenes featurette was all but worthless to me.

Bonus Scene – Fiona Cheeks, Judy Starr, and Kyle Stone

Judy does a great job taking the anal, and Fiona (who normally doesn't do much for me) does a great job dominating her. This is a hot scene and makes it easy to see why Jake Malone quickly earned himself a name behind the camera.

Currently, many of Elegant Angel’s DVDs can be found online for between about $15 and $25 with most stores offering them for under $20. Rent this one first. The sex was okay, but the style of the movie constantly came up short for me. The technical aspects barely make it above average, but there was some decent effort put into the extras. This is an average movie on a DVD that shows a bit of care.

Note to Elegant Angel: I love the idea behind this one. I hope you can find somebody to do it better in the future.
