Fashionistas Safado: Berlin Review

I began to view this disc with great anticipation. John Stagliano has long been my favorite director, so the prospect of seeing his big budget feature intrigued me. Right away, I could tell that the photography, sets, props, and costumes are in another league from what we usually see in porn movies.

As the movie begins Rocco and his lady friend go to the Kit-cat Club, a nightclub of sex, lights, dancing, debauchery, and beautiful female asses. How do I join this club?

Some of those beautiful butts have beautiful faces jammed into them. The whole flashy orgiastic scene went on too long, bogging down the story from wherever it was headed.

Antonio (Rocco) leaves with Violet (Katsumi) and Melissa Lauren, and they end up in a dungeon like workshop of sorts. Melissa gets roughed up, slapped and choked. I don’t like it. On the positive side, however, she gets spanked. I do like that!

With no explanation for all the rough stuff, especially face slapping, it is disturbing, not erotic. The scene descends further into the pit of depravity when Melissa pees while squatting to suck his dick, and he makes her suck the pee off of the grungy floor.

Though the scene was very well and articistcally photographed and edited, the overall tone of violence made the sex acts disturbing and disgusting, rather than exciting and erotic.

John Stagliano became an innovator in porn through his love and admiration of the female form in films like the Buttman series. So I find it a bit surprising that he would take such a dark, different approach in this movie. I recognize that others may enjoy this type of scene, but it’s not my thing.

When we finally arrive at the buttfucking of Melissa, via mish and doggy, it’s extremely well done. Katsumi lends assistance by first sitting on Melissa’s face, and later, while in doggy, spreading her ass cheeks.

Our slave from the first scene turns onto our dominant in the second, slapping the breasts and face of the lovely actress. Luckily the slaps are soon applied to the shapely upturned butt cheeks. But the beauty of them having their faces in each other’s asses is not enough to rescue another gloomy scene.

Rocco goes into another kinky nightclub, insomnia. An extremely flexible dancer in a red latex outfit is performing. The freaky kinky fashion show continues but Rocco is lured to another room by Safado, where he is bound with tape to a padded table by 4 beauties, who take turns slapping and sitting on his face.

While two of the hot ladies are abusing him the other two suck his dick and balls. After they release him from bondage, all four take turns with his dick. Then, all four beauties line up on their knees so Rocco can lick all of their asses. This is the best thing in the movie so far! Rocco selects one of the girls to help him lick the asses until they are prepared for a good ass fucking. How can we go from so dark, to so wonderful in consecutive scenes?

Lots of ass licking and fucking follow in easily the most erotic scene of the movie. What Evil Angel fan would not love to lick and fuck the asses of four beautiful girls? A man’s dream comes true! I don’t know how Rocco can last this long under these volcanic conditions. But he does.

I still don’t understand all of the face slapping, but there is a lot of it.

A face slap starts disc 2 in another club scene. Katsumi decends into the basement where there is a weird 3 way clothespin torture scene going on. I suppose if you like clothespins, it’s great. I didn’t like it. Katsumi moves to film a breast bondage scene, which I also didn’t like.

Then we have a scene where Rocco rewinds a tape in a camera to see girl spray milk out of her ass onto Katsumi’s face. Nice. It’s the first of two such episodes in the movie. I never even heard of a milk-enema-in-the-face fetish before, and now we are subjected to two of them?

We move to a massive group scene of a couple dozen participants where everyone is getting smacked, spanked, beaten, eaten, or fucked. Many of them are wearing fetish gear. It is a lot to follow, and frankly, not all that much of it is worth the effort.

Belladonna opens the next scene in the office of the fashion house. She spots Rocco on the internet, and soon we cut to two ladies in white latex nuns habits having a sex party with Safado and four women in camo colored latex outfits that expose their breasts and butts. A lengthy orgy develops, with a lot of fellatio, analingus, intercourse, and anal sex. I really love these scenes with multiple ladies for one guy. Isn’t that what we all want, anyway?

This scene evolves into a wonderful buttfuck between Rocco and Katsumi.

This is a very well filmed, acted, edited, and produced porn movie. The problem is that except for two scenes, it’s not very erotic. As a porn fan, I wish the fantastic porn team of Stagliano and Devereaux had used their considerable talents and efforts on a more “traditional” porn celebration of the female form. I realize it may be porn sacrilege to not give a great review to such a massive effort by two of porn’s great figures, but I honestly did not like this movie very much. The superb 5 way with Rocco and four beauties , and the Rocco Katsumi sub-scene, are just not enough to overcome so many slaps in the face, clothespin and tit torture, too-busy orgies, and milky ass spray.
