Family Secrets (Vivid) Review

As AVN awards season is in full swing got to check out this Kimberly Kane written and directed show for Vivid Entertainment. Kimberly assembles a top notch cast for this story too with Penny Pax leading the way along with Claire Robbins and Princess Donna and Kimberly also takes the lead female role in this playing a Detective who tries to solve a murder involving a step daughter of her very own partner played nicely by Steven St. Croix. In addition to Steven you have Richie Calhoun and Danny Wylde appearing so plenty of fine talent on display in this project from start to finish and I almost forgot to add Kylie Ireland who appears in a supporting role as Penny's mother.

The movie opens on a dimly lit night on a San Francisco beach. A figure is twirling about just in the surf and it turns out to be Penny Pax. A hooded figure is shown lighting a cigarette in the distance then walking in close until a knife appears and several stabs occur as the surf rolls in. Cut to daylight and a toe appears and we know that it's Penny who is dead. The show cuts from that to Steven and Kimberly going at it giving us the first sex scene. Good natural lighting here as the two bang one out featuring oral from/ for both then a few vag positions until Steven launches his load and it flies far too. Turns out this is a tryst Kimberly isn't keen on repeating as we learn that Steven is married. The story developments start to creep in and I'll try and not spoil everything so you can enjoy viewing it for the first time yourself as I did. We see that Kylie is the wife and Steven gives her a look lying in bed like this marriage has been over for some time. Going into the bathroom he sees a couple things that later on in the story get explained. The story then really kicks into gear when we see that Kimberly has made the crime scene where Penny's body was found and a short time later Steven arrives and we get a reaction shot from Kylie too which after you see the movie can be seen much differently than it was at the start of the show.

The show then takes us to the interrogation room where Kimberly tries to start piecing the evening together talking first to Claire Robbins and then to Richie Calhoun and finally to Danny Wylde. They stay with the night club scene too for the second sex scene where we have Princess Donna taking Claire Robbins into the bathroom for a dirty lesbian scene right there on the floor! It wasn't a big space but the two ladies sure made the best of it tasting each other using their tongues as well as some fingers. You don't always see the g/g oral with one fully standing but we get some of that here which was nice and check out the full on white cotton panties on Claire! One great shot during this scene has Claire on her knees behind Donna who is standing ass open and facing out to us-- it looks so lickable here!! Everyone seems to give slightly differing accounts of the nights events and good for us they all involve some hot sex with Penny Pax at the center of it all. She first hooks up with Tommy Pistol another heavyweight performer acting wise that Kimberly brings in for this production. A good hotel romp with him and Penny ensues with several good shots of those amazing tata's Penny's been blessed with. That scene comes from Richie's account and it ends with Tommy standing above Penny and dropping his load down to her waiting tongue with clean up after. The next suspect brought in was Penny's step brother Danny and Kimberly has to press him and he doesn't want to fully divulge at first but slowly the details come out especially when Kimberly lets him know she suspects the sexual relations between the two. Needless to say Danny spills the beans and we get another hot scene with Miss Pax who looks very comfortable here working those two cocks in her mouth and also in her pussy. Interesting lighting too for this scene as they were in a club setting so it certainly lent itself to that and they nicely worked them in and the scene looked good. Plus we get anal from Penny, Yay! Two facials to end this little get together.

Kimberly keeps pressing Danny even after that info comes out and it leads to a big reveal that helps speed this show to its conclusion. It involves Steven's character and from there we see flashbacks to Kylie, sex sounds are heard, Danny is seen masturbating while watching someone fucking and images flash before us giving us all sorts of possibilities as to who killed Penny. After that Steven is seen coming into a room with Kimberly who lets him have it after learning all the dirty little secrets about his family. Steven tries to deny it but it ultimately proves a failure. Steven tries to offer up an explanation and it seems he also puts together the pieces and knows who killed his step daughter. Kimberly has to leave then to make an arrest she doesn't want to and that leads us to the final shot of the movie and it will blow your head off. No big reveal beyond that as you should find out for yourself but it puts a nice cap on this film.

Extras & Final Thoughts:

This was a really good piece of entertainment put together by Kimberly and she had some great assistance from a team including Kylie Ireland in front of and especially behind the camera. Also of great importance in terms of shooting this picture was the involvement of Eli Cross behind the camera for this one. The only extra you really need to watch is the behind the scenes which gets going with some explosive footage to say the least. Some great stuff here over the course of 50 plus minutes and more boobage from Penny too! We learn too this movie was shot around the same time as Wetwork which came out last year and we know how hot that release was. Well Family Secrets holds its own here with excellent work from Kimberly, Penny, and Steven with Richie/ Danny also doing fine work in that interrogation room and then in their scenes. Good g/g here too with Princess Donna and Claire Robbins. Plenty of sex for Penny fans and we led off with Kimberly boffing her partner before learning that he has a few dirty secrets that come out during the course of this picture. If you've seen Kimberly Kane directed shows in the past this one is well worth checking out with the strong cast assembled. I can't stress enough how good the BTS was for this release, be sure and check it out.
