What’s Bud Lee gotta be, about 108 years old by now? Whatever his age, he does prove even a grizzled old veteran can morph with the times. He’s gone from the plot-driven mini-movie features of the eighties to today’s balls-to-the-walls, all-sex and gonzo ideal fairly well in terms of lensing the sex- but his pacing could be better at times and some scenes in this DVD suffer from a lack of momentum build. Only a couple less inspired moments keep this DVD from being a ‘must have.’

It has bothered me recently that Jenaveve Jolie bears a striking resemblance to some other past porn star. That was one of the scenes I had picked this disc to see. However, I’m afraid that either my lust for Marie has begun to subside into the realm of reality or she has begun to phone in her scenes. Although Marie is as pretty as ever, this scene just didn’t seem to heat-up to her standards and left me a little disappointed. It is a work-out vignette with Billy Glide. Marie’s extremely tight, slender but strong frame does appear as if she is quite comfortable beneath a barbell. We get an excellent view of her sinewy legs from a long camera shot just before she rests the barbell down and decides to begin an entirely different kind of work-out on him. To this reviewer, that move is just a distraction that breaks up the continuity and pace of a scene. Whatever the reason, this scene doesn’t really catch fire.
