Eternal is a love story about a romance writer, played by Kaylani Lei, who moves to her new home and encounters Edward, played by Michael Vegas. India Summer is the writer's agent/friend who is trying to help her get another book finished and her devoted husband is played by Marcus London. Also featured are Dane Cross as the ex-boy friend, Lizz Tayler as the original Elizabeth and Derrick Pierce with Victoria White as yesteryear lovers. Director Barrett Blade makes a cameo as the real estate agent.

This is one of those films where the story is so good I want to get to the end to find out what happens. The sex scenes were really good, as well. A hallmark and goal of Michael Vegas' performances is to show passion and hardcore can exist at the same time and he certainly succeeds in Eternal. In fact, Barrett Blade beautifully surpasses that goal in the directing of every scene in this film.

Mr Vegas and Lizz Tayler in the first sex scene set the tone for the movie as star crossed lovers. Mr Vegas is so debonair in the 'period' setting and Ms Tayler is regally beautiful. This is the most passionate sex scene in the film and the urgency between the lovers is palpable. Next, Kaylani Lei and Dane Cross meet up for steamy sex on a park bench. While Mr Cross had few lines he still did an excellent job as a character who wasn't exactly who he seemed to be. This was followed by India Summer and Marcus London with a lovely husband and wife scene. I felt the on-screen chemistry between these two amazing performers was the strongest in the film. Mr London and Ms Summer are such accomplished actors that watching them together felt more like peeking in a window at a real couple than watching a movie. Derrick Pierce and Victoria White, again outdoors, at a picnic in a really sweet sex only scene. Ms White is lovely in pin curls and a lace chemise. We see a softer side of Mr Pierce here, as well. I only wish there had been some dialogue for them. Finally, we see Michael Vegas and Kaylani Lei in the most romantic sex scene in Eternal. The moment they exchanged after the sex was touching. I believe the sex scenes in Eternal will satisfy any fan and it is a great movie for women, couples and anybody watching adult entertainment for the first time.

The story was intriguing and kept me hanging on until the end to find out how it would be resolved. Michael Vegas is a natural as a 'good guy' and it was really nice to see him play a slightly more serious character, as well. Too often actors get typecast in one type of role and Mr Vegas doesn't seem to have had the opportunity to play many of the more serious or dark roles. Something to look forward to!

I've enjoyed every film I have seen Kaylani Lei in. She always seems to bring a great energy to her characters that comes across the screen. I've yet to see her not project a wonderful rapport with co-stars and Eternal is no exception. In particular, Ms Lei and India Summer were completely engrossing to watch during the non sex scenes.

India Summer plays the agent of Ms Lei's writer character. Ms Summer is one of my favorite actresses. She is another of the elite group of adult entertainment performers that are to talented actors first and foremost. Her sex scenes are no less professionally done than her non sex scenes. She makes her roles seem so effortless it is easy to forget she is acting. Mr London is completely believable as the charming, devoted husband. I can't imagine their sex scene not bringing a smile to any viewing couple's faces.

Eternal has the beautiful locations and sets I've come to expect from any movie released by Wicked Pictures. The only thing I didn't care for in this film was the soundtrack. This was surprising as I've also come to expect not just okay soundtracks from Wicked Pictures projects but actually good soundtracks. The background music for Eternal was, for me, distractingly bad. What difference does the soundtrack make? Well, like a lot of other women fans I know, I very much enjoy hearing the sex scenes. When I can't hear the cast, particularly the male actors, I am very disappointed. The background music was so bad I actually muted it.

Overall, this is a lovely film and great for couples or women, in particular. It has a nice story line, moves at a great pace and has sex scenes that are more passionate and romantic than in the typical film. I highly recommend renting or buying Eternal.
