Review:
The year was 2025... umm... I mean 1980-something, and the 19 year-old Octavia Red finds herself kidnapped from her room by masked men and whisked away in an unmarked, white van to Camp Conversion. Sent there at the behest of her parents due to her lesbianism, the demented world that Octavia finds at the camp is one whose "therapy" is far more about fulfilling the sadistic whims of its (barely) closeted directors/counselors than it is about achieving its stated (albeit seriously misguided) purpose. So goes the first chapter of Escape from Camp Conversion, an exceptional release from acclaimed director Bree Mills and Adult Time's GirlCore label.
Well-captured and featuring period-specific sets, music, costuming, and hair and makeup, this release feels authentic and, despite its darker theme, still manages to capture some of that classic 80s campiness. Likewise, the acting is, at times, intentionally over the top, particularly by the martinet-like counselors at the facility, each of whom has her own bizarre proclivities. This all, of course, meshes well with the overall tone and premise of the film.
In terms of the sex, this chapter drops two separate girl-girl-girl sequences in succession, both of them scorching. First up, three of Octavia's fellow captives (Demi Hawks, Ameena Green, and Leana Lovings) are forced to have sex in front of the directors (Codi Vore, Charlie Forde, and Cami Strella), as well as three of the other inmates. Unfolding in a tent, this exercise is nominally intended to teach the young ladies that pussy is "disgusting", but, despite the insults hurled throughout the affair, it's clear that it doesn't really work. Regardless of the circumstances, the crotch-grinding, tribbing, and oral action in this one are fire.
Up next, Octavia is summoned to the austere interrogation room, where two of the counselors, Codi Vore and Cami Strella, attempt to fuck the lesbian out of her, all whilst the camp's head honcho, Sophia Locke, watches in from a chair across the room. Berating her from start to finish (damn!), the defiant Ms. Red takes everything that they have to offer like the champ that she is... fingers, tongues, a barrage of strap-ons, and so on. Despite its themes of domination and degradation, this sequence remains intense (and even passionate) throughout, with Octavia remaining unbreakable...and unbreakably hot! Good stuff!
