From the moment this movie fires up, you can tell that this isn't going to be your typical porn smut. We have some Hollywood green screen magic as the cast is introduced... Images of the girls flash on the screen with some shots looking as if they used one of those fancy Photoshop filters. When the credits finish rolling, Sativa Rose makes an appearance with her flesh blasted out in black & white, her lips a vibrant crimson, a la Frank Miller's Sin City. She sucks on a cock with the camera capturing this through intense closeups and schizophrenic cut-work. Highly stylized and a treat for the senses. A+ intro.

You get the faint impression of things only.

THE  BOTTOM  LINE

The sex doesn't have much heat nor does the film have much stroke value but you'll love this for all the wrong reasons:   One of those wrong reasons is that this film isn't so much porn as it is a work of erotica; the title is very fitting I think.  It's much too stylized and artistic to the point where the sex takes a backseat to the creative elements. And as a piece of erotica, one's imagination is invoked to fill in the gaps- this film merely suggests the evanescent idea of sex and leaves the rest up to the viewer to piece in the details. That's not to say that this movie is softcore or anything, just that most other adult movies out there don't have the subtlety or grace that this one has.   As "artporn," this is one of my favorites of the genre, right up there along with the Celeste movies from Digital Playground- the Erotique series and Teagan: All-American Girl.  Overall, this is a fascinating movie and definitely worth a look.

Sex Style:
This isn't designed to be any indication of the strength of a scene. In breaking style up into three choices: normal        dirty        raunchy, I try to give the reader a better feel for the scene. If I indicate a scene as raunchy, that does not necessarily mean that it's full of gapes or ATM or double anals or massive facials or cum-eating. I could be looking at the raunchiness of the dirtytalk or the raunchiness of the body movement and moans- i.e. how hard a girl is trying to get herself off, the amount of "rawness" in her cowgirl bouncing and hip bucking; how horny she is. Similarly, if I indicate a scene as normal that does not necessarily mean that it's a couples scene! Although not designed to indicate scene strength, I tend to favor the right side of the spectrum- raunchy- and that's just my reviewer's slant. For me, raunchy usually means more energy and usually means more erotic value. It's not limited to this though- I have sometimes been blown away by the more "normal" scenes: genuine passion and love for instance...
