Initial Expectations: For some reason, I’m not sure what to expect here.

Initial Reaction: It’s a nice little diversion, but nothing overly entertaining.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting some light sex without much plot

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants a well done plot ro who wants straight ahead sex without any artistic touches

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is clear and fairly well balanced. It’s sometimes a little off balance, but normally good. Although the video looks very good, I’ll admit right away at being disappointed at it. Why you ask? One of the first things to flash across the screen when the movie starts is a nice little screen to tell you the feature was shot in the High Definition Widescreen format. If that’s so, why isn’t the movie shown in anamorphic widescreen??? Beyond that, it looks very good. There’s nice use of light and shadow, and barely any grain.

Music: As usual with Nicholas Steele, Saint provides the music. This is always a great thing for me as I think Saint and his new age style is some of the best music out there for adult films. It’s often a little on the loud side, but still works well.

Menus: The menus are a kind of mixed blessing. They show some nice care, with things like a little animation and a chapter menu that lets you jump to specific positions or acts in the scene once you select the chapter, but it’s a little rough. If you use a mouse and your CD-ROM, you can’t jump directly to the chapter menu by clicking on it. You have to click on it to tell it you want to go there, let it tell you that you’re now on the chapter menu selection, and then select it again. I’ll admit to often being a little impatient, but this is annoying as well as overly slow. I found myself almost shouting things at the screen like “I know a photo gallery has pictures. I clicked on the damn thing to see them!”. I’m guessing that these menus are becoming the standard Adam & Eve Premium Collection menus, and if so, they’re easily the worst thing about the entire line.

The Feature: When they decide their boyfriends aren’t noticing them, welders Sondra Hall and Dayton decide to audition at the local nudie bar, run by Jewel De’Nyle, at their amateur night. It’s not much of a plot, and so thin that it only appears a few times in the feature and by the time it shows up again you’ve probably forgotten about it.

Lezley Zen decides to start things out seeing how Julian can lay some pipe in her supervisor’s office. She pulls out personal pipe to give it a little oral attention and then bends over to let him slide it inside her. It’s a pretty soft scene where the camera wasn’t always where I wanted it to be. Actually, the camera were rarely where I wanted them to be. There’s some okay chemistry, but the scene ended while feeling like there might still be a little more to go. It’s a slightly below average scene that didn’t really do much of anything for me.

After dancing in an amateur stripper contest, Sondra Hall hooks up with boyfriend Evan Stone, who’s incredibly surprised and turned on by her being there. Thankfully she follows through with these things, since up until somebody started licking some naughty bits Dayton looked like she wasn’t sure what she was going to do, or even what she should do. They continue on through a bit of standing doggie fucking before Julian decorates Dayton’s ass. It’s an okay at best scene that left me more than a little disappointed. Although I’m sure things were to start out as a tease, but instead they just ended up boring me and giving the scene a horrible start that I could never get past.

Erotic Intentions is a decent piece of fuck fluff, but not much more beyond that. There’s nothing that really demands your attention, and the non-sex sequences are fast forward fodder in the truest sense even though there’s a little plot. It’s almost a vignette piece, and I have a feeling it would have been better if it was one. There are times to do a plot and times not to, and the plot is so thin here that there’s just enough to realize why many people make fun of adult film plots. The sex has some decent intensity to it, especially Aria and Lee Stone’s coupling, which is an all too rare occurrence in pornos marketed towards couples. Sadly, a couple of the scenes really flopped for me, which held the overall sex back to barely above average. Erotic Intentions is an okay couples feature, but nothing too exciting.

Extras: Bios are included for Angel Long, Aria, Ashley Long, Dayton, Evan Stone, Jewel De’Nyle, Julian, Lee Stone, Lezley Zen, and Sondra Hall. Of course, there’s also web access, but there’s a few other nice extras as well, such as bonus scenes and a behind the scenes featurette.

The first bonus scene comes from Sweetheart Trilogy and features Steven St. Croix with buxom goddess Taylor St. Clair. After a romantic dinner, Steven and Taylor head back to their room for a little dessert. Finally, there’s a behind the scenes featurette that lasts about twenty minutes. It nicely mixes a few of the scenes being shot, a few interviews with the stars, and a lot of what else is going on behind the scenes. Thankfully, Evan Stone is behind the scenes through much of the movie, which means there’s always plenty of humor. The cameraman seems to realize this, since Evan takes up a large portion of the featurette. The only thing that doesn’t really work for the behind the scenes featurette is that there’s some fairly annoying music through much of it. I also couldn’t help but wonder why leading ladies Sondra Hall and Dayton were almost ignored. It’s a better than average behind the scenes featurette that gives a nice taste of more than a few of the cast members.

Overall: Currently, most of Adam & Eve’s Premium Collection titles can be found online for between $12 and $22 with most stores offering them for around $20. Although it has some nice extras and a nice transfer, the movie misses pretty good sexually a couple times. Rent this one before you shell out the big bucks.

Note to Adam & Eve: If you’re going to tell us you shot a movie in high definition widescreen, please let us watch it that way! Next, although your menus do show some care towards the new porn viewer, they’re so slow as to piss them off as much as helping them. There’s some very good thought there, so please either bring the action up to the level of the thought or take a step back to where things can be done to impress people all around rather than turning many of them off.
