The Short Story

Initial Expectations: I haven’t heard of Dana Dane before, so I’m going into this one with an open mind.

Initial Reaction: It’s very nicely done.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting all girl pornographic music videos

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting straightforward camera work and editing or to hear the performers through all of the action

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are extremely artistic. The audio is almost all music, and although you do get to hear a few moans from the performers it was rare to be able to tell if they were natural or just piped in. Either way, with the style of the movie it worked well. The video is very hard to judge, just do to its style. Full screen and non-anamorphic angles are worked together, as well as full color, black and white, and tinted footage. There are areas that are grainy and areas that are crystal clear. With how varied the look is, I can only think that it ended up just as Dana Dane wanted it to end up, and I can say that it worked for the movie.

Music: The music dominates the audio with a rock feel. It makes the movie come off as a series of long music videos, which is just what it seems like it was supposed to do.

Menus: The main menu works through a few clips from the movie before settling into some nice animation with a still. The chapter menu is very nicely done, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene, a title for the scene, and the name of the ladies in the scene.

The Feature

ErocktaVision 3: Sapphic Desire is a sexual music revolution, according to the front cover. There’s no guys and barely any vocals from the ladies inside. Instead there’s rock music, hip hop, and a few other styles as the girls make out on and around a boat on the water.

Scene 1 - Leah Lane and Autumn Bliss

Dark brunette Leah emerges from the ocean (or maybe just a lake) in a wetsuit to be greeted by lighter brunette Autumn on the boat. They help each other rinse off and play in the water while kissing, caressing each other, and helping each other strip down. When they get onto the main boat Autumn lies back so Leah can tongue her twat and work it over with a couple fingers. They move to the back end for a few kisses as things flash around with clips of them enjoying the boat and their friends.

This is a nice scene. It’s definitely on the artistic side of things, but does so in a very nice way. The lighter sex plays very well with Dana Dane’s artistic eye, and the music fits very well with the playful eroticism between the girls. It almost has a softcore feel at times, but it works due to the chemistry between the girls and the abundance of smiles. This is a very nice start to the movie.

Scene 2 - Holly Wellin and Cassie Courtland

After a little work on the boat, Cassie makes her way up to Holly at the front of the boat. They kiss and help each other strip down before she drives her tongue into Holly’s honey hole. She eats her for a while before the action stops.

This is an okay scene. It has a sexy feel, but it also feels very short and also comes across very one-sided due to Cassie only giving and never receiving. With a bit more time, this feels like it could have been a great scene.

Scene 3 - Leah Lane, Cassie Courtland, and Autumn Bliss

After working in the kitchen briefly wearing only an apron, Autumn gives a strap-on wearing Cassie a couple pinches on the nipples with her tongues. She gives Leah a couple pinches as well as she heads out before Cassie goes over and gives Leah a passionate kiss. She helps Leah strip down and mixes in a few kisses for her tits as they caress each other and continue kissing. Leah and Cassie make things nice and passionate with their kissing and looks between each other, and the artistic feel of the scene doesn’t have a chance to downplay it. This is a very well done scene with plenty of passion and playfulness.

Scene 4 - Leah Lane and Autumn Bliss

After enjoying a smoke above deck wearing a bikini top, windbreaker pants, shades, and a bandana while watching Leah lie out in a bikini, Autumn moves over to undo her bikini and rub some lotion on her. She loses her own top to show off a wonderful set of pierced nipples and loses the rest of her clothes as well as she kisses and caresses Leah’s back. They grind together and caress each other before Autumn works her pierced tongue around Leah’s goodies while also giving her some nice eyes. This is another very nice scene. Autumn looks fantastic at the start of the scene, and her going over to work on Leah seems very natural here. She really shines eating pussy by giving Leah some great eyes, and although I think Leah was supposed to be the focus of the scene I couldn’t help but be completely drawn into Autumn. This is another winner of a scene.

Scene 5 - Leah Lane

Leah starts out in a white hooded zip-up sweater and a pair of Uggs. She crawls up on the lower support beam for the sail and starts diddling herself lightly. She doesn’t bother with any toys, and just rubs her nub while moaning away. Finally, the scene fades out.

This is a nice little scene. It isn’t too deep, but it’s one that anybody with an Ugg fetish will want to check out. Leah looks nice, and it’s playful and sexy without getting too involved. This is a nice little filler scene.

Scene 6 - Leah Lane and Holly Wellin

Dark haired and skinned Leah kicks back on the bed with blonde Holly to start out the next scene. They help each other escape from the confines of their bras before lightly licking and sucking each others nipples. Of course the panties follow soon after, and after the girls kiss and play with Holly’s pussy a little Leah kisses her way around Holly’s body and makes her way over to kiss it and give it plenty of finger action. After kissing, Leah breaks out a sparkly chocolate colored strap-on that she fucks Holly with doggie style. Finally the scene just ends.

This scene didn’t work that well for me. It seemed overly long, didn’t have the chemistry of many of the other scenes, and its one-sided nature really held it back for me. The girls look great and there’s some nice attention to the foreplay, but that just wasn’t enough for me. The cut off ending also hurt the scene for me, and left me barely caring about this scene.

Scene 7 - Holly Wellin, Autumn Bliss, Leah Lane, and Cassie Courtland

This is a very different closing scene, as it basically just looks back on the movie. It uses many clips that you’ve seen before as well as a little footage that you didn’t see. It keeps much the same feel as the earlier scenes, but flashed around so much that it didn’t work too well for me. The idea of a short final scene looking back on the rest of the movie is a decent idea, but the reality of it just didn’t work as well.

ErocktaVision 3 is a pretty good all girl movie that makes use of the music video feel better than any other all girl movie I can think of. Dana Dane is definitely trying for something other than the usual all girl movie, and I think she succeeded very good at that by matching some often sexy music with some beautiful women and nicely done camera work. There’s a lot of beauty throughout the visuals, and the artistic style works for the movie much of the time. There’s a couple scenes that didn’t work for me, and there were various reasons for them not working. Sometimes it was the editing, sometimes it was the music, and sometimes it was the editing for the scene. I forget on who commented on being able to end a lesbian scene being the sign of a really great director as you don’t have the pop shot to let you know the scene is done, and much of the time Ms. Dane does very well with this. The other thing that Ms. Dane does very well is to capture the chemistry between the performers. This is something that really stands out to me here, as there are very few movies I’ve seen where you don’t get to hear the performers much where you get a good feeling of the chemistry. Ms. Dane and Ms. Clover manage to capture plenty of passionate looks between the performers and let them often seem like they’re taking their time with each other so that you do get a feeling of chemistry between the performers. ErocktaVision 3 won’t be for everybody due to its style, but it worked well enough for me that I’ll definitely be looking out for more of this series.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts almost two minutes with about six seconds per good looking full screen photo. There’s also a behind the scenes featurette and a bonus scene.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about seven minutes. There’s quite a bit of the footage being shot, but there’s also some fun moments on the set. Niki describes how she wants things for the bonus scene, and there’s a couple bloopers as well. For the length of the behind the scenes featurette, this one’s pretty good.

Bonus Scene - Niki Clover and Autumn Bliss

Niki, a nice looking dirty blonde who looks to be in about her mid-twenties, starts things out in a black bra, a black strap-on, and a black hat with a red band around it. The Bottom Line:

Currently, the ErocktaVision movies can be found for between about $20 and $30. This is a little much for what you get here, but if you really like music videos and artistic porn it might be worth it for you. At the very least I can’t help but recommend that you rent this one. It’s artistic and sexy with the technical aspects playing very well for the movie. It also has some nice effort put into the extras. This is a very nicely done DVD.

Note to Pulse Distribution / Dana Dane: In the future, I hope you list the cast on the cover. You’ll definitely keep a lot of people from checking out the movie if you don’t let them know who’s in it.
