Initial Expectations: The only DVD I’ve seen from Shot at Home has been Lost Footage Vol. 1. It impressed me so much that I bought a couple more Shot at Home DVDs that I’m going into with high expectations.

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects vary quite a bit. Most of the audio is pretty good, but the balance is frequently a bit off and there are a few background noises. Some of the noises actually help the scene out, but some seem out of place and interfere with the scene, such as quite a bit of beeping that I’m assuming came from the camera. The video also varies. Perhaps the biggest problem is the pixelation, which always seems to be a problem with features that were shot for the internet. There’s also quite a few shadows and areas that are so dark that you can barely tell what’s going on and remnants. Some problems are a bit more trivial, such as the cameraman trying to capture the action from outside the car, only to just show himself and the camera in the reflection. You don’t see or hear the cameraman that much, but there are a few parts of him that show up here and there.

Disc Problems / Complaints: There’s a watermark for ShotAtHome.com in the lower right corner. Although I don’t care for watermarks, it’s very well done here. It’s very small, doesn’t move its location much, and doesn’t flip on and off, which makes it very easy to tune out.

Menus: The menus are very basic. The main menu is unanimated and the chapter menu lets you jump to one of six places in the movie based on stills of those scenes.

The Feature: As with most of Shot at Home’s features, Elle Ass Abused focuses on a single woman. In this case, it’s Elle, a nice looking strawberry blonde British chick with big knockers and an ass that always seems to want something in it. She takes on Nick, a very realistic guy with dark hair and a moustache and goatee in each and every scene in the movie.

Elle and Nick start things out in the back seat of a parked car. Elle strips down to her black bra and panties, and quickly lets Nick work over her pussy and ass with his tongue and fingers. It looks like they don’t even bother with any vaginal sex before Nick fucks Elle’s ass from behind and reverse cowgirl style. They notice some people and move down the road, but since the cameraman’s driving, this doesn’t slow Elle down. She gives Nick a nice blowjob as they go down the road, and they play a bit more as they’re driven around. Finally, Nick gives Elle a decent facial. It’s a nice opening, and does a great job of catching the claustrophobic feel of sex of sex in a car while still showing plenty of what’s going on in it.

Back at the hotel, Elle and Nick can’t even wait to get in their room. He eats her pussy before fucking it, and also works over Elle’s ass with everything he can. They move into the hotel room when they think they hear somebody coming, where Nick continues to fuck Elle in each of her holes in several positions. Elle gets into all of it, and even takes a few great ass to mouths and rims Nick before taking her facial. Throughout it all, Elle and Nick mix it up nicely, moving back and forth through oral, vaginal, and anal sex, as well as taking plenty of breaks to kiss. Afterwards, she hops right back on Nick for another cowgirl ride, and they fuck in a few positions both in the bedroom and the bathroom. They work each other over everywhere possible in the bathroom, with Elle taking it in both holes once again before finishing things up with a small facial. The entire hotel sequence is great. There’s excellent energy, fantastic chemistry, and you never even have a moment’s thought that either of them aren’t enjoying themselves completely.

Elle Ass Abused is another Shot at Home winner, but not quite for the reasons many might expect. With “ass abuse” in the title, I expected this to be a pretty rough title, and it’s anything but. There’s plenty of anal action, but nothing at all that I could see anybody consider the least bit degrading. It’s all completely consensual, and both Elle and Nick look like they’re completely into each other the entire feature. Right there lies the strength of the feature. There wasn’t a split second that I doubted that Elle and Nick were completely into each other and completely enjoying themselves. They mix things up nicely the entire time so that although the scenes are very long, they never feel boring. Yes, there are plenty of little things that show that this isn’t a really professional production, but that’s to be expected with amateur features. Elle Ass Abused has plenty of those problems, but the sex is strong enough that by the end of the feature I had almost completely forgotten about them. The only complaint I somewhat had is that it makes anal sex look completely easy, and I hope that some couples don’t try it after how easy they make it look here. Elle Ass Abused is a really nice fuck flick with real emotions and plenty of backdoor action.

Extras: Previews are included from six of Shot At Home’s releases. There’s over twenty five minutes of extra action here, with each feature getting about at least three minutes worth of action. You can jump directly to a specific trailer, which starts out identifying the movie it comes from and some of the cast in the scene. It’s a great extra with how many movies Shot At Home have released (at this time, there’s over sixty available). My only complaint here is that the audio is, in a couple words, completely fucked. It sounds like listening to dolphins underwater, which would be cool in the ocean, but is extremely irritating when trying to watch porn.

Overall: Currently, the Shot At Home line available exclusively at Adult DVD Empire for about $20 each. If you want to watch backdoor action with real emotions and people who love it, this is the feature for you. The sex is hot, but the technical aspects aren’t always the best. The technical aspects also make the extras nearly impossible to watch.

Note to Shot at Home: Please watch your quality control a little better. The problems with the audio in the previews is darn near inexcusable.
