Initial Expectations: There’s some hot talent in this cast and I’ve been pretty impressed with what I’ve seen from Wildlife so far. I’ve got some good hope for this one.

Initial Reaction: It’s kind of hit or miss. There’s some nice hits, and also some fairly good misses.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody who likes sex down, dirty, and a little on the rough side

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who wants to see women treated like delicate flowers during sex

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is a mixed bag. When it’s outside there’s a fair amount of background noises and during the dialogue portion the microphone feels like it’s so far away that you might as well skip them. Indoors some of the time it’s clear and others it’s on the hollow side. The sex portions, however, are normally well captured. The video is fairly similar. There’s a little pixelation here and there, but overall is pretty clear. There’s almost no camera shake to the picture, and it’s well lit.

Music: The music rests in the background so low that you can barely hear it for most of the scenes. It’s almost a little too quiet, but on the other hand, never interferes with the rest of the audio.

Menus: The main menu is simple and contains a small clip from the feature. The chapter menu is also simple and lets you choose a scene based on a clip from each scene and a scene number.

The Feature: Brooke Hunter’s Ecstasy 10 follows Brooke and some of her friends as they fuck. That’s about it for a plot, and some of the scenes are just started off by couples talking about how they want to fuck on camera.

Brooke Hunter starts things off with Samantha Sterlyng, who’s feeling a lack of spark in her current relationship. She wants things to go back where they used to be, where she got to do things like other women. She finds a sympathetic tongue and pussy in Brooke Hunter, who suggest starting a little therapy right there on the table between them. Samantha gets a little taste of Brooke’s bald beaver before laying back and letting Brooke work her clam over. Samantha ups the ante a bit when she works Brooke over, starting on her pussy and moving on to stretch out Brooke’s ass with her fingers. Brooke meets her nastiness with a couple ass to mouths, and later spanks and eats Samantha’s ass. They bring things to a fairly decent close between them, but as they talk afterwards Brooke suggests a threesome between them and Brooke’s husband Don Hollywood. Not surprisingly, Don walks up as they’re discussing it and is all for it. He eats Samantha while Brooke goes between having her pussy eaten and sucking Don’s cock. Brooke and Samantha take turns with Don’s cock, including a bit of anal action, while the other either encourages or stays in the action. Brooke takes another ass to mouth during one of her turns, and soon after shares a facial with Samantha. It’s a very hot opening sequence, with a nice bit of light cumswapping, nastiness, and great chemistry and energy. After watching this scene, which was my first of this series, I couldn’t help but wonder why this series hasn’t gotten a bit more attention.

Michelle Raven starts out getting verbally abused by Marty Romano in the next scene for doing the same thing as he does, working in porn. This was not the right way to start the scene off for me, but since Michelle had a hard time keeping a straight face, and actually broke out laughing at one point, it was a little more bearable. She finally gets around to sucking Marty’s meat as he spanks her, and takes him all the way into her throat along with a vicious throat-fucking. Marty doesn’t bother to give Michelle any warmup, and goes straight to fucking her from behind. Marty’s mouth rarely stops spewing hate at Michelle as he works her through missionary, pile driver, and back through doggie before giving her a nice spunk spray that she eagerly takes on her face. Although there’s some decent energy and I know Michelle likes rougher sex, it wasn’t exactly an enjoyable scene to watch.

Becca Bratt, a decent looking bleached blonde with a “Pretty” tattoo instead of pubes and a couple piercings, gets busy with a guy I’m assuming is her suitcase pimp (I watched the opening twice and still didn’t catch his name). Becca gets her twat fingered and licked before the suitcase pimp fucks her from behind. Like many other suitcase pimps, this one appears to have a bit of a wood problem, and Becca does her best to fix that with an oral prescription and some great eyes before laying back to take more of it. She finishes him off in cowgirl, and lets him jerk himself into the air in front of her face. It’s an okay scene, but nothing too special.

Lauren Legends finishes things off doing her first boy-girl scene with her jealous suitcase pimp. They both fail miserably at acting before the guy (once again I didn’t get the name) goes down on her. She stays laying back to get fucked, and takes a break in the middle to suck him so that he can no doubt stay hard enough to do his job. They work through reverse cowgirl and doggie before Lauren takes an extremely enthusiastic facial. It’s a pretty average scene right up to the facial, which saves the scene due to Lauren’s great enthusiasm.

Brooke Hunter’s Ecstasy 10 is a decently done fuck flick. The opening scene between Brooke, Samantha Sterlyng, and Don Hollywood is easily the hottest in the feature, which is good and bad. It makes the feature look great right from the start, but it also makes the rest of the feature a bit of a disappointment. I’m sure Marty Romano and Michelle Raven’s scene will appeal to fans of rougher sex, but to me it seemed a little degrading and if I didn’t know that Michelle liked it rougher I would have been completely turned off. It appears that Brooke and Don make a good effort to use real couples, which almost always adds heat to a scene, but here the guys are borderline duds that end up bringing the scenes down instead. Ecstasy 10 has a good start and a good idea, but it flounders through many of the scenes.

Extras: As usual, there’s contact and internet information. The photo gallery lasts about two and a half minutes with about seven seconds per decent looking snapshots. Unlike most photo galleries, there’s also a small clip from the feature and a way back to the main menu. Best of all, though, is the ten minute behind the scenes featurette captured by Richard Monfort. It’s a nice mix of the scenes being shot, interviews with the stars, and other goings on behind the scene.

Overall: Currently, Brooke Hunter’s Ecstasy series can be found online for between $9 and $21 with plenty of stores offering them for under $15. This is a pretty good price for what you get. There’s some hot sex, a decent transfer, and an good behind the scenes.

Note to Wildlife: It’s nice to see you putting out affordable DVDs that are actually well done.
