The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are very nicely done. The audio is clear and very nicely balanced. There are a couple background noises, but they’re pretty minor and only appear at one point in the movie. The video is also very nicely done. It’s clear and nicely lit, although there are a couple very minor blemishes that do appear now and then.

Music: There’s a little music during the tease portions, but that’s about it.

Disc Complaints: As usual, although the rest of the DVD has a time stamp, the movie itself doesn’t. I always like to have the time stamp so that I can jump to specific points in the movie, however Smash puts in a ton of chapter breaks which almost makes up for it.

Menus: The menus are nicely done. The main menu has a little simple animation that helps give it a nice first impression. The chapter menu is excellent, and lets you choose a scene based on a photo of the girl(s) in each scene along with a still picture of the girl(s). Once you select a girl, you’re given another menu that lets you jump to a specific point in the scene. This is one of the best chapter menu setups I’ve seen so far, period.

The Feature

Yeah, there’s a lot of old guys who want to prey on young, barely legal girls. What many of them don’t realize is that there’s plenty of those young, barely legal girls who have their eyes on them as well. Scene 2 - Kathleen Kruz and Dale DaBone

That said, she’s so cute and spunky that I couldn’t come close to disliking her. I really hope to see more of Kathleen in the future.

Scene 3 - Monica Sweetheart and Brodi

Even more, I like the chemistry and how the girls look like they’re having a lot of fun. I would have liked to see Monica give a little more rather than just receiving, but this is still an enjoyable scene.

Scene 4 - Kayla Marie and Dale DaBone

Nineteen year old Kayla Marie shows off her driver’s license next before things cut to her Dad’s college buddy Dale showing up at the door looking for him. She lets him in to wait and slips into something a little more comfortable when she goes to get him a glass of water. Dale tries to leave, but Kayla insists that he stays and plays with her instead. Scene 5 - Jazmin and Brandon Iron

Easy Prey is one heck of a hot fuck flick. Normally I prefer women to girls, as women seem to know what they want sexually much better than the girls do. That said, the girls in Easy Prey seem to know just what they want and how to get it. The scenes all have plenty of chemistry and energy, and Dan Silver does a great job is keeping the pace going as well as making sure there’s a nice mix of camera angles. I easily got into every scene in the movie, and would have never guessed that this was Dan Silver’s first time directing a movie. It’s easy to see why Smash gave him a chance, as Easy Prey is definitely worth checking out.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about three minutes with about eight seconds per okay looking snapshot. There’s also website information, a bonus scene, and a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts over a half hour. Keri, Kathleen, Kayla, and Jasmin each give a fairly short interview. You get to see Keri during her photo shoot and filming some of the scene. There’s a bit of Brodi and Monica getting ready for their scene as well as having a few problems on the set. Finally, there’s Brandon and Jazmin getting ready for their scene and taking a break. It’s a very nice behind the scenes featurette that definitely adds a lot to the overall DVD.

Bonus Scene - Simony, Frank Gun, and Zenza Raggi

The bonus scene comes from Legal Skin 12. When Simony wants to buy a house, she isn’t going to take no for an answer. Currently, many Smash DVDs can be found online for between $14 and $24 with most stores offering them in the $20 range. This is well worth the money if you like younger girls. The sex is hot, the technical aspects are nicely done, and there’s plenty of effort put towards the extras. With releases like this it’s about time Smash starts getting some of the notice they deserve.

Note to Smash Pictures: You have a great find here with Dan Silver. Okay, he wasn’t exactly a secret around the industry, but you definitely did the right thing by letting him move up to directing.
