Audio /Video Quality:
The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio has a lot of music, and leaves out the audio from the performers if it's there, but the rest of the audio is clear and well balanced. That said, there are a few areas where the audio doesn't quite sync with the video. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks nice. Most of the movie reminds me of the cheap XX pay per view porn where you could watch pornos but there was never any penetration shown. Thankfully there is a little penetration shown here, most of which is of the oral variety, and see how much you can slow down the pace and you have Eastern Promises. I really wanted to like this one as the cast is full of hot Asian girls (along with a couple hot white girls), but instead it almost put me to sleep. Eastern Promises has plenty of potential, but seems like it's trying to see how little it can do with it. If all you care about is beauty this one might be worth a rental, but others are best off passing it by.
