Initial Expectations: The little I've seen of Gina's work behind the camera has been pretty good, and she's put together a very nice cast here. I'm looking forward to this one.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is normally well balanced, but there are a few problems here and there. There are also some very noticeable background noises, such as the parrots in the opening scene. The video is presented in the full frame format and looks pretty good. It's nicely lit and barely has any grain. There is, however, some very noticeable camera motion in almost every scene that does interfere with the action.

Music: There's a little music here and there, but it's nothing really worth mentioning.

Menus: The main menu is okay, and blends a bit of the movie with some animated stills of the girls that goes by way too fast. The chapter menu is very generic, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a scene number.

The Feature

Drowning in Bitch Juice keeps things fairly simple. Each scene has a small lead in for the action and works toys into almost every scene.

Scene 1 – Brooke Haven and Gina Lynn

Gina starts things out on a couch in a pair of white flares with a white bra talking with Brooke, who's in a similar black outfit. Brooke starts things out telling Gina that she gave Gina's main man Travis a blowjob just to make sure the camera would work for their scene and tries to tell her not to get worked up about it. Gina's none too happy with her, but they decide to get it on anyway and go after each other's tits. This is a pretty good scene. Brooke and Gina start things off with some decent chemistry, and seem to be into each other pretty well as they work each other over through the scene. That said, the scene seemed way too long running well over a half hour and it sounded like there were probably two macaws in the background as the scene started. As colorful of birds as they are, I really hate hearing birds sound off in porn. This is an above average scene.

Scene 2 – Alektra Blue and Nikki Benz

Half bottle blonde Nikki starts out the second scene talking about how long she's wanted to fuck hot brunette Alektra before standing next to her in a similar little outfit. This is an okay scene. The girls seem to be into each other okay, but once again there seemed to be a little something missing. Maybe it was that the scene lasted over a half hour again while feeling like it would have been stronger if it had been tightened up in the editing bay or maybe it was that the girls seemed to be playing more for the camera than to please each other. There is some good energy and vocals as the girls fuck, but this scene never really grabbed me. This is a slightly above average scene.

Scene 3 – Akira, Gina Lynn, and Jess Wakefield

After Jess gets done mowing the lawn in cutoffs, a white wife beater, and a bandanna to hold her hair back she makes her way over to Asian Akira, who's also in a white wifebeater along with a short blue skirt, to check on how she's doing. This is a pretty forgettable scene. The girls look decent and there's okay chemistry between them. The scene just seems like it wants to give everybody a chance to work on everybody else and then be done with things. This scene just didn't do too much for me.

Scene 4 – Nadia and Riley Evans

Good looking brunette Nadia and good looking bottle blonde Riley start out the penultimate scene in some sexy black lingerie talking with Travis on a couch about how Riley's brand new and a bit shy. They kiss a little before Nadia drops down to tongue Riley's twat. She takes her time licking her and then gives her a kiss before sitting back and letting Riley return the favor with some slow tonguing for her pierced pussy. There isn't a lot of chemistry between the girls, which I guess isn't anything new with it being Riley's first scene. Sadly, that left very little to really draw me into the scene and it ended up hovering around the average mark.

Scene 5 – Gina Lynn and Jess Wakefield

Gina, in a brunette wig, starts out the final scene sitting back in a love swing wearing a ball gag and blindfold with black panties and mid-calf boots as Jess dominates her a big and slaps her with a crop. Jess takes off her blindfold as she talks to her and moves down to tongue her pussy while mixing in a few slaps with her crop. This is probably the best scene in the movie. I like Gina's dark wig, and did do a double take at first thinking it might have been somebody else. I also really like the domination aspect, which I think was the main thing that made the scene feel a bit unique. All that said, the scene still seemed like it could have been trimmed down a bit. This is a pretty good scene, and a nice scene to close the movie with.

Drowning in Bitch Juice is an okay all girl release. There's a little variety to the action, but not a lot, and the movie has a similar enough feel throughout it that the scenes start to feel a bit repetitive. There's nothing too special about the chemistry, and the scenes often felt overly long. I think this movie could have easily been under two hours instead of being at two hours and twenty minutes and not have lost anything. The camera work feels very basic, which made me a little more critical due to the repeated sloppiness with the camera work while watching the movie, but there were some good camera angles throughout the movie. Basically, although there isn't anything that's really bad about Drowning in Bitch Juice, there's also nothing special about it at all. It felt like a multitude of other all girl movies I've watched before, only the scenes were drawn out far longer. Maybe it's because I'm not a big fan of all girl movies, but Drowning in Bitch Juice just struck me as a very average all girl movie.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts about six and a quarter minutes with about three seconds per okay looking to below average looking snapshot. Trailers are included for DDs and Derrieres and Dirty Chicks Craving Meatsticks. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, internet information, and a bonus scene.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about six minutes. After a little of Gina and Brooke getting it on, it moves onto Nikki and Alektra with some cut footage and behind the scenes action. There's also a little behind the scenes action with Nadia training Riley as well as Gina and Jess having fun with the problems with their scene. For a six minute behind the scenes featurette, this is a nicely done one. Most of the scenes are included and there's a bit of personality from each of the stars. It's fun and sexy, and definitely worth checking out.

Bonus Scene – Gina Lynn and Tanya Danielle

Gina starts out the bonus scene in a white see-through short shirt with blue short shorts and a pink belt playing to the camera a bit. As she moves out into the room you get to see busty golden haired Tanya on the second level touching herself and teasing Gina in a baby blue mesh top and sliver shorts. Gina makes her way up a staircase so Tanya can check her out, and she checks Tanya out in return as well as giving her a little kiss. The scene almost gets a little long and nearly twenty five minutes, but the girls mix things up enough that it never did. The girls do a good job getting into the action, and although it was good it never showed that spark to take it up to the great level. That said, this still works darn good as a bonus scene and definitely adds to the overall DVD. In fact, I enjoyed this scene more than a couple of the scenes in the actual movie.

Currently, many of Gina Lynn Productions' movies can be found online for between about $15 and $25 with a couple stores offering them near the low end. Aim low or rent this one first. It's not a bad movie, but I also didn't find much that was too memorable about it. The technical aspects are pretty average with some noticeable background noises and camera motion while the extras show a touch of effort. This is an okay release.

Note to Gina Lynn Productions: It's great that you want to include a bonus scene, but it would be very nice if you would identify who the players are in the scene and if it's a brand new bonus scene or something from one of your past productions for those who are just discovering you for the first time. Also, please work on your camera skills a bit. The camera motion was obvious enough that it draws the viewers to other problems as well.
