Review:
Though she may be "America's Sweetheart", there's much more to the fiery television star, Maitland Ward, than meets the eye...oh so much more! Indeed, what lies beneath the squeaky clean surface is a complex woman, complete with kinks and strong, sexual urges. So goes the first episode of Drift, the brand spankin' (...and I do mean "spankin'"...) new feature release from the auteure-supreme Kayden Kross and her Deeper brand. Offered up in a nostalgic, mid-to-late 20th century setting and possessing a distinctly vintage vibe replete with intellectually constructed voiceovers, Kross achieves the dark tones and ambience for which she strives. Tying these various thematic threads together is a soundtrack that vacillates between female punk (the opening) and grindhouse cinema...chiming in at exactly the appropriate moments in complementing the storyline and the action onscreen. Also playing a pivotal connective role are a variety of cut-scenes that are peppered throughout and that range from old to new, black-and-white to color, and provocative to unnerving. In all, there is no doubt that Kayden Kross is a master of her cinematographic craft.

Of course, it doesn't hurt to have the impeccably talented (and stunning) Maitland Ward in the lead role, either. It goes without saying that Maitland is a spectacular actress with well-known mainstream roots (which are parodied in the opening minutes of this sequence, by the way, and are likely to play a larger role in the plot going forward), and she always delivers a command performance that goes above and beyond...time and time again. Her presence in the industry, particularly in combination with Kross, is the stuff of shattered glass ceilings, and her dramatic offerings in this particular scene demonstrate that she's well on her way to putting another impressive masterpiece under her esteemed garter belt.

In terms of the sex itself, Maitland and her personal assistant, the voluptuous Violet Myers, fuck it out with both one another and the "new guy" who's been brought in, Anton Harden, back at Ward's vintage pad and prior to a big premiere (...to which she seems ambivalent). Violet goes to work first, massaging Maitland's feet and then fluffing Harden's massive meat...but it isn't long before the festivities devolve into a beautiful and erotically-charged threeway. Ward maintains the dominant role throughout, leaving no doubt as to who's the boss (...wrong show...), as the trio transitions through one sexy scenario after another. By the time that all is said and done, Anton's pleasured Maitland and Violet alike--providing them both with an intense deep-dicking--and they've returned the favor in kind with their womanly charms. Ward also spends some time on Violet's assorted goods--and vice versa--and this scorcher of an affair comes to a close with a brief bit of cum (easy to miss it) on Maitland's pussy and thighs and some explosive cut-scenes. So hot!

Onward to Episode Two...!
