The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Marie’s first movie, ”Yeah, I Swallow”, absolutely blew me away. I’m going into this one with very high expectations, and I hope that ”Yeah, I Swallow” didn’t set them so high they can’t be met.

Initial Reaction: It’s a very well done spanking movie, but it’s also a bit short.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting actual sex

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is pretty well balanced between Kami and Marie, but there are a few places where some of the audio seems to get lost. There’s also a fair amount of very quiet background noises coming from the camera operator. The video is also pretty well done. Although the cover claims a 1.33:1 full screen aspect ratio, the movie is actually presented in what looks to be a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen aspect ratio. I know that I rail on some companies for false advertising, but when a company decides to give the consumer something better than what they claimed I’m more than willing to let it go. There’s a little grain to the video, and a fair amount of natural light is also used. Even with it’s faults, I’ve seen a lot worse technical aspects from some of the big studios.

Music: There’s a little music during the opening credits, but that’s it.

Disc Complaints: There’s no time stamp to the movie. This is something that always leaves a DVD lacking slightly for me. I like jumping around in a movie after the first time I watch it, and without a time stamp this isn’t possible. From what I understand it takes virtually no time or effort to include it, and because of that it leaves me thinking a little less of studios who don’t include them. I know that this is one of Marie Madison’s older titles, so hopefully when I get to some of her very recent titles I’ll see something different.

Menus: The menu is very simple, and only has a still in the background and all of the choices for the DVD in the foreground.

The Feature

Every now and then a boss has to take matters into his or her own hands. Brunette Kami is in just that situation with her employee Marie. Marie dresses just a little too provocatively at work, sometimes letting the slip under her short skirt show and frequently letting the top of her stockings and their suspenders come into view. She’s teasing most of the office, and Kami knows that this isn’t conducive to a good and productive workplace.

After talking to Marie about what she’s been doing wrong, as well as rubbing her hands across Marie’s nicely natural little body, Kami takes her across her knees on the couch. She spanks Marie’s ass while disciplining her verbally before having Marie hoist up her skirt and slip. Kami lets Marie know that she only has her job because of Kami’s grace, and then has her strip down. She gropes Marie a little before taking her back down to for another spanking. Kami strips down to show how sexy underthings can be worn around the office without teasing everybody, and makes sure to give Marie plenty of kisses around her neck while softly talking to her. She goes back to spanking Marie, kissing and licking her ass, and talking softly to her as she works her kisses up Marie’s back. Finally, Kami has Marie get dressed and sends her back to work with a kiss on the lips.

This is a very nicely done spanking scene. Marie does a great job as the submissive employee, and takes one heck of a great spanking. Kami, however, comes off as the star of the scene. She bounces back and forth between being the psychopathic boss and a loving boss who just wants to help Marie and to share a bit of pleasure with her. The camera seems to eat Kami up throughout the scene, and it’s easy to see the potential in Kami for some very naughty sex scenes. This is a hot spanking scene that’s definitely worth checking out if you enjoy watching spanking.

The Dress Code is a well done spanking scene. The girls do a great job in their respective roles and the action is nicely mixed up through the scene. Marie does a great job taking the beating from Kami, and Kami plays her role on both a physical and psychological level extremely well. My only real complaint here is that there’s only one scene on the DVD. At barely a half hour running time I can see many people getting upset that there wasn’t more. I know that fetish titles are often shorter than regular movies, but at the same time all it would have taken was one more scene to make it worthwhile. The dress code idea works well, and it would seem like something that would be very easy to work another scene in with the same basis, such as maybe going for more of a schoolgirl scene where the principal takes her in because her plaid skirt is a little too short. I enjoyed The Dress Code, but the length left me feeling like it was more of a sexual snack than a meal.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery lasts almost a minute and a half with about four seconds per okay at best looking screen capture. It has a bit of an odd feeling to it since the movie and photos are presented in the full screen ratio on an anamorphic widescreen background. Trailers are included for Indiscretions, Forced Feedings, The Agency, Talon’s Reign, Talon’s Reign 2. In a slightly frustrating move, all of the trailers are on one chapter so you can’t skip one that doesn’t seem interesting to you. Hopefully Marie Madison will split them into separate chapters and maybe even give a trailer menu on future releases.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, Marie Madison’s movies can mostly be found on her website for about $15. With the length of this one, I’d rent this one or go with the VOD option. Since there’s only one scene (although a nicely done scene), I can see many people wanting more, and the rental or VOD option will let them decide wether or not they want to spend the money to own this one. The technical aspects are pretty good, but there isn’t much here for extras. This is a decent start to a DVD that seems like it needs more.

Note to Marie Madison Media: If you have this short of a feature, make use of the rest of the space on the DVD. At the very least, it seems like you could have included a scene or two from some of your other releases as extra bonus scenes.
