The Short Story

Initial Expectations: I haven’t been overly impressed with anything I’ve seen from Fetish Films and Mother Productions. This one could be fun, but I’m not expecting too much.

Initial Reaction: It’s a fun movie. Unfortunately the overall DVD quality is pitiful.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is fairly clear, but there’s a few background noises and the balance isn’t always the best. The video is fairly similar. It has a bit of grain and the lighting fluctuates a little. There’s also several soft focus blurs and shadows. Finally, the audio and video don’t always synch like they should.

Music: None

Disc Complaints: The disc is extremely minimal in any technical ability. Although there are menus, they’re barely even advanced enough to call menus. There’s also no time stamp, which makes the DVD as a whole feel even shoddier.

Menus: The menus made one of the worst first impressions I’ve found so far. The main menu is just a screen letting you know what movie you’ve popped in without any graphics whatsoever. After you click to watch the movie you’re given a second screen which lets you choose between One, Two, Three, and Four. This was a horrible way to start the movie!

The Feature

Dr. Dick (Rod Fontana) works at a unique hospital. The staff uses some very unorthodox methods, and although some patients might not approve of them, the ones who do make a point to coming in regularly.

Scene 1 - Veronica Snow and Rod Fontana

When Nurse Veronica has a little down time, she decides it’s time for a self examination. Dr. Rod finds her shortly after she starts, and insists on helping her to try to keep good co-worker relations going. They start with a breast exam before Dr. Rod moves down below with a speculum. Next Dr. Rod tries to find a tongue depressor, but when he can’t he improvises with his cock. They test out Veronica’s gag reflex before climbing back on the exam table so she can have her cervix checked. Veronica rides Rod cowgirl style and then lets him fuck her doggie and missionary style before popping on her bush.

This is a good scene. The camera work frequently lacks, but the Rod and Veronica have a lot of fun with the scene and throw in plenty of bad jokes. They also put in plenty of energy to help make this a very nice way to start the movie.

Scene 2 - Samantha Sterling and Rod Fontana

Next, Samantha shows up for her doctor’s appointment. He feels around on her to start the checkup, as well as knocking her knees and licking her toes to check her reflexes. He also has her squeeze down on his speculum to start checking her pussy. After plenty of tests, Dr. Rod finally unzips his pants, takes out his “probe”, and slides it into her pussy missionary style. Samantha immediately approves of his unorthodox procedure, and soon after slides down for the tongue depressor test with his “probe”. They move back to the examination table for Samantha to take a little more missionary work before she climbs up for a cowgirl ride. They go back to missionary for a bit longer before Rod finally decorates Samantha’s stomach.

This is a fun scene. The sex is pretty good, but the banter and chemistry between Rod and Samantha are what makes the scene work. There’s plenty of chuckles as the two of them play it pretty straight with some fun lines, and as usual Rod does a great job of playing the dirty old man. This is another enjoyable scene.

Scene 3 - Mia Domore, Rod Fontana, and Tony Michaels

Dr. Rod gives his little brother Dr. Tony a hand with Mia before taking off for the golf course. Dr. Rod starts out giving Mia a little reflex test, and has Dr. Tony pay attention to how perky Mia’s nipples get when he works on her foot. They move on to examine her vagina with a speculum before Dr. Rod gives her pussy a taste test while Dr. Tony checks out her tits. They move on to test her gag reflex before Dr. Rod starts giving it to her missionary style. Mia lets Tony have his turn as well before tonguing Dr. Rod’s ass and climbing up to ride him cowgirl style. She lets Dr. Rod have a little reverse cowgirl action as well before letting Dr. Tony have his turn. Dr. Rod moves up so Mia can gag on him a few more times as she rides Dr. Tony before they each fuck her from behind. Finally, Dr. Rod fucks her one more time missionary style before they both spray their seed across her face.

This is a great scene to close things with. There’s great chemistry between Mia and the guys, and Mia’s frequent smiling and laughing makes this one the highlight of the movie. For that matter, I think it’s probably the highlight of everything I’ve seen from Mother Productions! There’s no doubt as to whether or not Mia’s enjoying herself, and it helps the scene past its rocky spots easily. This is an excellent scene.

Dr. Dick #2 is a very fun movie. Yes, it has an amateurish feel, but it also has such a fun loving spirit that I found it impossible to dislike. Rod Fontana does a great job as Dr. Dick, and frequently put a smile on my face with his lines. More importantly than just Rod looking like he was having fun, every scene left me with the feeling that everybody involved enjoyed themselves. The camera work was even at an average quality level or better throughout the movie. It’s not perfect, but the locations were also fairly tight and left me with the feeling that they might not be the best places to film the scene. Dr. Dick #2 has it’s faults, but it was still a highly enjoyable movie for me.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Mother Productions’ DVDs can be found online for between about $20 and $25, with very few stores offering them. Rent this one first. It has some good sex and I think some decent replay value, but the overall DVD is so low quality that I can’t really recommend paying that kind of money for it.

Note to Mother Productions / Fetish Films: If you actually had somebody do your DVDs who knew what they were doing, you might have a chance at getting some good notice with titles like this.
