Down Your Throat (Smash Pictures) Review

Expectations

Blowjob flix are one of those niche genres that you either love or you find ridiculously boring. I happen to belong to the former group, so when I heard that Smash had a new BJ line coming out directed by none other than Zora Banx, it definitely peaked my interest. I'm sure you all remember Zora, the ultra hot Euro blonde from Frank Thring's Pirate flix. So, to say I'm looking forward to this one would be right on the money.

Technical

This flic is technically competent. The lighting, video and audio are all acceptable and the mastering is good. I really like the way the menu is divided for each scene. This is the only BJ flic I've seen that does this. Unfortunately, it is still laced with commercials.

Note: There are 15 scenes on this disc, and they basically consist of a blowjob. To do a scene by scene, play by play of this DVD would be pointless. Rather, I have concentrated on the essence of the flic and the high and lowlights.

The girls in this flic are by and large very pretty. Many of them are Euro babes and they are all groomed to perfection. Zora has done an exceptional job on several fronts including the extensive use of great eye contact.

Unlike many of the flics in this genre, this one avoids a huge pitfall. There are many camera angles and nice smooth transitions. This makes a great deal of difference in distinguishing this flic from a lot of the really boring oral stuff out there.

Also, there is a nice pace to this flic. Many of the BJ movies try to rush things along. This basically lends a very artificial feel to the entire flic making it a definite miss. Zora, on the other hand, has done a wonderful job of allowing the scenes to progress at a natural pace. Maintaining that integral timing that is so painfully evident on an unconscious level.

Last, but not least, comes the issue of the money shot. In no other genre of porn is the cum shot so important as it is in a BJ flic. Zora again is outstanding at capturing the climax of the moment. The girls lovingly take the shots in their mouths. There is extensive and explicit cum play that is filmed beautifully. Unlike so many of her peers, Zora leaves the camera on and allows the scene to fully play itself out.

In Conclusion

My favorite BJ flix to date have been Frank Thring's contributions to the BJ Fantasies series. I would rate this flic as being right up there with Frank's. Anyone who follows my reviews knows that this is high praise indeed! Nice job Zora... I'm definitely looking forward to your next effort.
