imagine a two-hour movie about traffic violations? Just as well that Alex

Overall
As I mentioned, I was doubtful about a whole movie of DP scenes, but in
the end Double Parked 2 kept my attention very well, varying the formula
just enough from scene to scene to stay interesting. On more than one
occasion, especially with the hugely appealing Loni and then with that
fitting finale, the action is close, oh so close, to kicking into that
whole other level of excitement but I don't think it quite makes it. Again,
this is perhaps just a matter of personal preference, but while Alex Ladd
seems to have everything in place (great cast, largely good shooting and
lighting, progressive editing), I tend to feel this is highly competent,
easily enjoyable porn but only in a few fleeting moments does it even
approach the kind of inspiration that would earn it a top rating. Otherwise,
it's a sound product with some added value features (see below), further
confirmation that DVSX are on the right track - though I have to appeal
to them to spare us the box cover blurb about "sluts" and "whores" please,
this movie is good stuff and you surely don't need to get into that.
DVD Comments
The picture quality on the disc is excellent - bright, clear, strong in
colour and pretty sharp. The sound is good too, though we're mainly talking
moans and groans and a little chitchat. Extras are as follows - trailers,
photo gallery, a solo masturbation scene for each girl of around 1½ to
3 minutes per girl (a great idea, but too short - though I admit I could
drool over Daniella's long, long stocking clad legs for hours!), and about
10 minutes of behind the scenes stuff - at one point Alex says one trip
(to Budapest, I think) is the worst he's been on. I'd love to know more.
Otherwise, this is fun but Alex and chums are not quite as interesting
as the girls! On that score, we see Loni prepping her ass for the scene,
and then working out the moves with her partners, which certainly kills
the illusion of spontaneity! A couple of disc-related technical points
- more chapter stops would be good, plus I should note that I had some
problems getting this disc to play properly using Power DVD software on
my PC, which could just be my problem, but it might be worth noting.
