The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are pretty well done. The audio is clear and well balanced, with the only problem being the phone ringing once. The video is also nicely done. It’s nicely lit and free of grain. There’s a few fast pans and zooms, but the camera work is normally nicely basic.

Music: None

Disc Complaints: Sadly, there’s no time stamp. Thankfully, however, there are plenty of chapter breaks. I like jumping around in movies after watching them the first time, and I can’t do that without a time stamp. The chapter breaks help, but it just isn’t the same. This is only Chatsworth Pictures’ second release, so I’m hoping this changes in the future.

Menus: The menus are pretty decent. The main menu blends a bit of the action with the boxcover. The chapter menu nicely gives you both a clip from the scene and the name of the girl in the scene, and even lets you choose where in the scene you want to go sexually.

The Feature

Mr. Webster apparently hasn’t heard of the “Donkey Punch”, or maybe my dictionary is just that old. This scene didn’t seem to be anything too special, and I’ll admit that part of my problem with it was that I didn’t really care for either of the performers.

Scene 2 - Rachel Luv and Alex Sanders

Scene 3 - Alex Divine and Steven French

This is a surprisingly hot scene with Alex and her attitude making the entire scene work. She gets into the sex very well and shows an obvious love for rougher sex as well as a cock up her ass. Steven mixes up the slaps pretty well, and unlike most of the girls he performs with there’s actually some chemistry early on in the scene. I love how they fight a bit for dominance through the scene and how Alex plays a bit to the camera. You can see Steven pushing her through the scene, and tell that the ring pushes her past where she’s comfortable most of the scene. I like how it was worked into the scene to the point of Alex laying down the law that if he gives her the ring one more time she’d walk out of the scene. The limits come into view many times through the scene, and Alex shows more emotion than I’ve seen in most scenes like this. As impressed as I was with Alex, I couldn’t help but dislike Steven French even more. If she was acting with her limits in the scene, then Alex needs to move into some heavy mainstream work. If not, then I hope that Grip and Cram do a female domination movie like this where Alex gets to have her revenge on Steven French for this scene. I’m really surprised how much I enjoyed this scene, which is easily my favorite in the movie.

Scene 4 - Haley Scott and Chris Mountain

Dirty blonde Haley starts her scene out in a red mesh top with a black bra and fishnets and a red and plaid plaid kinda skirt having a smoke. Chris slaps her cigarette away and slaps her face a few times before giving her something else to suck on. This one might have the darkest feeling in the movie, just because Chris Mountain can come off as being more menacing than Steven French. I mean, mountains aren’t known for running away at the slightest problem like the French are, are they? This is a decent scene, but not one I could get into much.

Donkey Punch is a movie that seemed wrong in so many ways that I couldn’t resist making it wrong in just one more. That’s right, I couldn’t resist making this my Valentine’s Day review in case there’s a couple out there looking for a completely different way to spice up their Valentine’s Day fuck or somebody out there looking for the right way to break things off on Valentine’s Day. Going into this one I was more than a little apprehensive. Rough sex is a touchy thing, and having this one revolve around punching women in the back of the head at the end of the scene made me look forward to this one even less than the first one of Grip and Cram’s fatty flicks. Donkey Punch took on two different feels, one of rough sex and one of bondage. In the middle two scenes, there was a definite feel that the girls were into rough and intense sex. They were vocal and there were times you could dang near see them light up when they were slapped. For that reason, Rachel and Alex’s scenes really worked for me. Haley and Deja’s scenes, on the other hand, had more of a bondage type feel to them. There were times when you could see the girls getting into it physically, but their faces frequently seemed scared and they didn’t have the vocals to go with them. Those scenes just didn’t work as well for me. Overall, I enjoyed Donkey Punch much more than I expected to. To Grip and Cram’s credit, it appears that they chose girls who liked it rough and picked guys who were able to give it to them. At the same time, I was more than a little put off by Steven French and his not respecting Alex’s limits. I know that JM is one of the bad boys out there, but rough sex can be shown very well while still respecting people’s limits, and this one made it look like Steven didn’t care about that. Donkey Punch isn’t for everybody, but it also isn’t nearly as bad as it could have been.

The Extra Stuff

Production notes are included with the usual Johnson flair as well as a behind the scenes featurette.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about twenty minutes. Things start out chatting with Deja about how she’s completely okay with the rough aspect of the scene and the movie before capturing a little of the scene being shot. They mix in a little of their chat with Deja from after the scene where you can tell that she was more than into the scene. They chat with Rachel about rough sex in their own demented way after watching her get ready for the scene, and check with her afterwards as well. Alex is next, where you see that Steven’s not respecting Alex’s limits wasn’t just part of the scene as well as her being pretty cool with Grip after the scene. They chat with Haley next, who talks about guys liking it rough in porn before showing the great care that she and Chris had for each other. It’s a pretty good behind the scenes featurette that answers many of the questions about the movie and whether the stars were into rough stuff or not.

Currently, Chatsworth Pictures’ DVDs can be found online for around $20. As usual, there’s a bit of tongue in cheek humor with them along with straightforward sex. The sex is rough, and although not for everybody it is pretty well done. The technical aspects show some nice care, and the extras are very well done. This is a well done DVD that’s worth checking out if you want sex dark and rough.

Note to Chatsworth Pictures: Dang but I hope you bring out a femdom movie with the same feel as this! Also, on the bonus scenes, please put your introduction and the scene itself on separate chapters.
