This was a great first scene to review for AllHerLuv : for reference I have been a member for two years ( and so I have seen most of what I will be reviewing from AHL in advance ).

I knew I liked this scene because of the two stars involved and because of the effective and even borderline freaky use of taboo. Still revisiting this crystallizes even more of what works for me in it.

AHL frequently has dimmer lighting than other studios which can enhance a mood if done well as I think was the case here. I have always found thunderstorms comforting too so this was hitting another button in my brain.

I am a huge fan of both Violet and Penny . Penny’s showcase for another company written by her , shows that she likes darker material and this fits that bill for sure. I’m not one of the taboo diehards who clamors for explicit relationship references - but I can appreciate when I know those fans will most likely be very happy.

Violet’s acting was pretty damn good when she was teasing and taunting herself in the setup. I’ve probably talked about it at length before but Violet is one of those stars that can really sell the innocent act while secretly being very naughty and that’s something I’ll never be tired of as a viewer. The turn where Penny’s inner voice reveals she was trying to achieve the same outcome was well executed if predictable. I always say , that there is nothing wrong with a twist we see coming if it’s logical and fits the characters.

My favorite parts were definitely the two cunnilingus sessions. That’s nothing surprising if you know me , but I’ll say that the audible wetness was good throughout these examples as was the attention to eye contact at the right moments.

Reviewing AllHerLuv will be a bit of a departure for me. Not just because it’s a different site - but they often shoot the same pairings in multiple parts and different setups. This is something I think they started as a cost saving measure - but as someone who loves watching character growth and chemistry developing naturally this is even more exciting for me to break down and analyze.

I would love to see Violet Starr matched up with Emily Willis in the future. They both have stunning smiles and that ability to play darker character roles. They would crush it as partners in crime or cutthroat lesbian rivals. For Penny I would nominate another personal favorite , AHL all-star Cadence Lux. Those two both genuinely love pussy and anything with the two together would probably soak sheets and then still set them on fire after.

I will still always offer up more pairing suggestions in my AHL reviews - but I also think that as I revisit and eventually complete multi scene pairings my takeaways will also evolve into something different to what you might have read before from me.

What I’m envisioning is not really a ranking of the given pairings numerous matchups - but will probably either involve pitching a sequel to my favorite story or propose an all new scene with the pair using what I think are the given talent’s biggest acting strengths. I know that AllHerLuv is a site that cares about plot and acting a lot.

It is one of the reasons I am most excited to finally put my thoughts about the scenes out there. Although it probably explains why even as a fan and subscriber I have held off reviews for a while. I really like to get a sense of a brand’s identity and sensibilities before trying to critique them in detail. I guess it’s my way of trying to be respectful of the creative process.

As a first foray into reviewing AllHerLuv I think this was a lot of fun. It was well acted , atmospheric and slightly creepy. Highly recommended to any g/g fan , but that goes double for the taboo hounds that I know are out there!
