Maybe the original "Blue Velvet" would've been better off if conceived as a BDSM drama. No higher arbiter of film excellence than Roger Ebert noted that "Blue Velvet" was "marred by sophomoric satire and cheap shots," and "denying the strength of his material or trying to defuse it by pretending it's all part of a campy in-joke." So, in effect, there's significant reason to believe that "Baby Wants to Fuck!!!' is a better vehicle for delivering the dramatic impact of "Blue Velvet" than the cinematic epic was itself.

The average sex-aided sendup of mainstream films involves some level of cute campiness that ultimately mutes the impact of the sex romp version as having any impacting connection to the original feature.
