Review:
Rape, pillage, and revenge ensue when three armed and dangerous escapees from the territorial prison chance upon the unfortunate Barbara Bourbon's southwest homestead in "Dirty Western", a passable Golden Age film from VCX and Adele Robbins. It should be said upfront that the vast majority of the sex in this Old West flick is of the nonconsensual variety--which would be a big no-no today--so this one is immediately going to turn off a good portion of its more socially-sensitive audience. Of course, this same use of force may lend the production a form of taboo niche appeal in the other direction, as well, at least partially offsetting these negatives. Unfortunately, social issues and whatever one's personal proclivities may or may not be aside, the sex itself simply isn't that great. Indeed, it's ho-hum at best. Similarly, with a plot that essentially consists of the convicts raping Barbara, raping and kidnapping her three daughters, and then being pursued by a posse (...all the while continuing to rape away...), the storyline isn't horribly well-developed, either. What results is a release that, save its controversial subject matter, would be entirely forgettable, otherwise. So, unless you're one to be enticed by (average) nonconsensual sexual activity set in the lawless days of the Wild West...and filmed in the effectively "lawless" days of porn's past...you're probably going to want to let this one mosey on by. (By the way, did I mention the raping? *Shaking my head...*)
In terms of the sex, Richard O'Neal gives his dutiful wife, the beautiful Barbara Bourbon, a quick lay in their prairie home before he hits the road for a cattle drive (Scene One). The male overdubs sound painful in this one, but, otherwise, it's okay, and Barbara sucks and jerks him to completion on his belly. She follows this up by riding him to another, smaller orgasm directly thereafter.
In Scene Two, one of the convicts, Dick Payne, happens upon Barbara Bourbon's homestead after her hubby has left, and--after stealing her water--decides that he's going to steal her body, as well. He forces himself upon her vaginally on the kitchen table, threatening her with a gun and with violence toward her frolicking daughters just outside.
Scene Three has Barbara Bourbon offering herself up to the other convicts, Vern Rossi and Levi Richards, in the barn in a vain attempt at saving her three daughters from a horrible, sexual fate. They watch as their mother's defiled, however, with the two criminals stuffing her full of cock...one in her mouth and the other in her pussy. Barbara hesitantly sucks and jerks out a facial from one of her assailants.
In Scene Four, Levi Richards makes the cute brunette, Gloria Hope (Barbara's youngest), jerk him to completion in the barn...all as her two sisters look on in terror.
Scene Five has Barbara Bourbon tied up and suspended in the air outside of the barn by Vern Rossi, who eats her out a bit.
In Scene Six, the gang (Dick Payne, Vern Rossi, and Levi Richards) rapes the three sisters, April Grant, Gloria Hope, and Starlyn Simone, at a watering hole after they've taken the young women hostage and fled. The hardcore action is shot underwater in this one, and there are some wood and murkiness issues that go along with it. Meh.
Scene Seven finds Gloria Hope raped again, this time by Dick Payne up under a sandstone outcropping after a long day on the run. He takes her vaginally and drizzles up her bush. (It really sucks being the youngest...)
In Scene Eight, Gloria Hope, April Grant, and Starlyn Simone, the three captive siblings, get it on for the entertainment of their captors, still upon the same sandstone backdrop of the prior sequence. The three guys (Dick Payne, Vern Rossi, and Levi Richards) quickly and eagerly jump in, and an orgy ensues. This one is fairly soft (oral) and isn't much to write home about.
Scene Nine features April Grant blowing the bad guy of her choice, Levi Richards, in the same setting as the preceding two segments. This entire sequence ends up being a diversionary tactic on April's part, and it suffices to say that things don't end well for the criminals.
In all, this Golden Age film is most notable for its controversial subject matter, namely that of rape-riddled criminal activity in the Old West. This fact alone will invariably alienate a good portion of any potential, modern-day audience. Further adding to its woes, the sex that is there is "meh", and the plot follows suit in an equally uninspiring manner. Even looking past some of the potentially disturbing content and adopting a less-biased eye, this simply isn't that good of a production. No riding off into the sunset here. Pass.
