Synopsis:
This is the fourteenth volume in one of Ed Powers popular long running gonzo style all sex adult film series, which features amateur females being introduced to the world of porn by him.

Audio/Video:
The available audio track on the disc is an English 2.0 mono track, which considering the source material is all that is required. As Ed leaves his films with the natural sound, you hear everything that goes on, completely unrefined and all of it can be heard with perfect clarity on the disc. No other language tracks and no subtitle options are available on the disc.

Dirty Dirty Debutantes 14 is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which is the original aspect ratio for the film. The print for this film is in the best condition possible considering the limitations of the source material. The print is clear with nary a blemish, artifact or video glitch in sight. The color levels are correctly balanced throughout giving a nice video presentation, far better than the film deserves.

Special Features:
There are several extras on the disc and although none of them deals with the feature film, most of them do have to do with Ed Powers. First up is the photo gallery containing twelve stills of now famous porn stars from other Ed Powers Debutante films. Love From Ed is a three minute video clip of Ed Powers rambling to the viewer. There is a text biography of Ed Powers career. Transmissions contains audio excerpts from Ed Powers radio show Bedtime Stories from KLSX. About New Machine contains the contact info for New Machine Publishing. The final extra is previews for Cockless 1, Real Naturals 3, Global Warming Debutantes 11, Dirty Debutantes 47, Dirty Debutantes 157, and Dirty Debutantes 185.

Navigation:
From the main menu, you can select from the different available main females (Darian, Kelsey, Halli and Elena) and go to the beginning of their scenes or from the chapter menu, titled 'Action Menu' here, you can select from the 23 chapter stops available on the disc. There is a time code encoded on the disc for the feature film. Given the style of the film, the chapter set up allows the viewer excellent navigation through the film.

General Review:
To begin with, I'll give those unfamiliar with Ed's Dirty Dirty Debutantes series a breakdown of what they can expect. Ed films his movies in a room with a bed and usually the production equipment, like lights, wires, playback monitors and camera men, are in the shots. He'll give directions to the technical crew during the sex scene and the audio often jumps with the edits.

The positive side to Ed's films is the talent is usually true amateurs to the porn world, although some have become famous now, and have great energy usually not found in the high budget studio releases. Another positive side is that most of the women he gets are very attractive and lack large quantities of tattoos and fake breasts.

The negative side to Ed's films is Ed himself. Personally, I find him to be a giant turn off and have problems getting into scenes that he is in. On this disc, he is in every single scene. Another negative side to Ed's films is the horrible production values. The camera work is truly amateurish and often the camera goes out of focus. Sometimes the camera man manages to get the worst possible angles. Ed seems to revel in the low production values and happily talks to you about them and puts text messages to the viewer on the screen regarding issues.

This all said, Ed Powers does have his fans and he tries to give them what he feels is the best adult entertainment that he can. Other than the above-mentioned issues, his films aren't that bad and I'd find them much more enjoyable if he stopped participating in the sexual portions. The females in this film range from average looking, Elena and Darian to very attractive, Kesley, Blake and Halli and I doubt any viewer will be unsatisfied with any of them.

The sex in the film is relatively tame, with the nastiest scene being the one with Elena, which is unlikely to satiate the fans of nasty sex. The three connected scenes with Blake, Halli and Kelsey are by far the hottest scenes in the film and almost made me not mind that Ed was in them. The sexual themes in the film are oral, vaginal and anal sex with female masturbation, feet, anilingus and pussy fingering. For viewers that care about such things, condoms are used in all of the sex scenes and in one of the blow job scenes.

The Scenes:
In the first scene, Ed Powers brings us Darian Laquoix. They start with Ed playing with Darian's pussy, no oral content, for a little while before he lets Darian explore herself giving us some female masturbation. Ed goes back to Darian's pussy for some pussy eating before switching over to receiving a blow job, while wearing a condom. Then they go into some 69 before going into the vaginal sex finale. Parting Thoughts:
If you are a fan of Ed Powers films, this one is in great shape on the disc so you'll probably want to pick this title up. As always, the women look nice but there is still the problem of Ed's presence. Fans of Kelsey Hart and fans of amateur sex may want to pick up this disc as well, but I'd recommend giving the film a rental before purchasing. Fans of nasty sex, porn with a plot and porn with high production values will want to skip this title.
