Synopsis:
This is the sixty-seventh volume in one of Ed Powers popular long running gonzo style all sex adult film series, which features amateur females being introduced to the world of porn by him.

Audio/Video:
Dirty Debutantes 67 is presented with its original English 2.0 Mono track, which works well for the material being presented in the film. The limitations of the source material are present here and other than the technical inadequacies present on the masters contain no real problems. There are some points in the film where the dialog can be hard to hear, but it doesn't ruin the viewing of the film. New Machine hasn't provided any foreign language tracks or any subtitle options for the film.

Dirty Debutantes 67 is presented in its original full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1 and the quality of the print is far better than past entries that I have seen in the Dirty Debutantes series. Although far from the crystal clear sharp picture that some studios are producing on their discs, for the most part, this print is free of blemishes, artifacts and video glitches. The picture is clear but slightly soft and the color levels are appropriately set. Other than technical inadequacies from the making of the film, there are no real issues with the picture present here.

Special Features:
There are several extras on the disc and although none of them deals with the feature film, most of them do have to do with Ed Powers. These seem to be the same extras as available on all of the Dirty Debutantes series discs. First up is the photo gallery containing twelve stills of now famous porn stars from other Ed Powers Debutante films. Love From Ed is a three minute video clip of Ed Powers rambling to the viewer. There is a text biography of Ed Powers career. Transmissions contains audio excerpts from Ed Powers radio show Bedtime Stories from KLSX. About New Machine contains the contact info for New Machine Publishing. The final extra is previews for Cockless 1, Real Naturals 3, Global Warming Debutantes 11, Dirty Debutantes 47, Dirty Debutantes 157, and Dirty Debutantes 185.

Navigation:
From the main menu, you can select from the main scenes, each identified with a video clip and the female star present. From the chapter menu, titled 'Action Menu' you can select from thirty-six different chapter stops that break up the scenes. Each chapter is identified by the female star present and by a video clip from the section of the scene that it goes to. There is no 'Action Menu' selection for the first scene in the film with Tina. There is a time code encoded on the disc for the feature film. Given the style of the film, this navigation system works very well for finding a specific portion of the film that you might be looking for.

General Review:
To begin with I'll give the basics of what an Ed Powers film is all about. Ed is a man who revels in his cheap film making. He often uses poor camera work with poor angles and sometimes the picture is out of focus or inadequate lighting, making the action hard to see, in the scenes making his films look cheap. I also don't find Ed to be good-looking man, and I'd rate him slightly below Ron Jeremy in the looks department. He has a pot belly and wears his glasses in every scene that he is in. If he tried to make his films look better by using better camera work and fixing the lighting and used a different male star, his films might not be that bad.

The tag Xpanded Edition on the box is very deceiving as me, along with most viewers, would expect the sex scenes had restored removed footage or other scenes shot for the film that didn't make it. This is not the case here. The original film is intact with its two hour and twelve minute running time and the rest of the extended time is created by adding scenes from other Dirty Debutantes series films that are also available on disc. These added scenes should really be referred to as bonus sex scenes and not be used to make the run time of the film look longer than it actually is.

As far as the female cast is concerned, they range from average to very good looking in this addition. I don't think that there was a single female that was hard on the eyes and there were several that I would like to see more of in a more professional film. I may be slightly biased in this opinion as I am a big fan of Shay Sweet, especially when she is working with her friend Katie Gold, and the two of them definitely don't disappoint here. The female talent brings good energy with them trying to breathe life into this stagnant series.

The sex scenes turn out to be rather average despite the efforts of the female cast. The sex scenes are formulaic with the same sequence of acts being performed over and over again with slightly different positions being used during the sex. The sexual themes in the film are oral, vaginal and anal sex with a hand job, lesbianism, female masturbation, toys, strap-on sex, anilingus and male anal fingering. For viewers that care about such things, there are no condoms used in the film.

The Scenes:
The first seven scenes are from More Dirty Debutantes 67. The first scene gives us Tina and Manny starting with Tina masturbating for a little before giving Manny a hand and blow job. In the second scene, Brandi and Jannette pair up with Jake Steed and Ed Powers starting with some female pussy eating before going into the blow jobs. Then there is some male pussy eating before the vaginal sex.

The third and fourth scenes are interlaced. The third scene features Sandra Sheen masturbating for the camera. The fourth scene features Poison and Jake Steed which starts out with a blow job before going into the pussy eating and vaginal sex for the finale.

The fifth scene features Shay Sweet with her friend Katie Gold and Ed Powers. The scene starts with female pussy eating before Ed gets hungry and eats some pussy for himself. The two females then give Ed a blow job before he has vaginal sex with both of them. In the sixth scene, Shay and Katie return along with Alexia for some lesbian action which features pussy eating and some vaginal sex using a strap-on.

The seventh scene brings back Tina and Manny from the first scene and starts out with some pussy eating before Tina gives Manny a blow job and concludes with vaginal sex. The eighth scene, from More Dirty Debutantes 113, features Stacy Burke with Ed Powers and features Stacy masturbating to start the scene before Ed dines on her pussy. Stacy then gives Ed a blow job before they head into the vaginal sex. The ninth and final scene in the film, from More Dirty Debutantes 153 features Monica and Ed Powers and starts with some anilingus before Monica masturbates. Ed then gives her pussy some attention before she gives him a blow job. They then have vaginal and anal sex with some male anal fingering mixed in.

Parting Thoughts:
While viewers that aren't fans of Ed's films probably won't find much to interest them here, this is a volume for his fans to pick up since it doesn't feature the poor video quality present in some of his other disc releases. Devoted fans of one of the stars may want to pick up this volume as well for a glimpse of their favorite star early in her career. Fans of Shay Sweet or Katie Gold will definitely want to at least give this disc a rental to see their scene.
