Initial Expectations: I haven’t heard a single thing about the Denni O series, so I’m going in with wide open expectations.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are okay. The audio is clear and well balanced, and much better than I’d normally expect for a release like this. The video leaves a bit to be desired. With the exception of plenty of flashes from the still cameras, the movie is nicely lit. It also has some noticeable grain and a bit of camera motion that interferes with things.

Disc Complaints: There’s no time stamp to the feature. This always ticks me off because after watching a movie the first time I sometimes like to go back to specific instances in the movie. With a time stamp you can go to any point in the movie, but without it you’re limited to chapter breaks. From what I understand it takes next to nothing for effort or cost to include a time stamp, so the absence of one always leaves me a bit disappointed and feeling like the company who put out the DVD doesn’t care that much for their customers.

Menus: The main menu has a bit of animation, but for some reason comes off as fairly cheap and unimpressive. The chapter menu isn’t much better, and lets you choose a between spots in the movie based on a small clip of each section and a chapter number.

The Feature

This is a pretty average scene. The camera is heavily focused on the penetration, but was definitely helped out by Samantha’s enthusiastic vocals not being able to be held back. It also moved along a bit fast for me, seeming like it was trying to see how many cream pies it could squeeze into the scene. I’m all for plenty of cream pies, but when it doesn’t take some of the guys an entire minute to get there it just doesn’t do a lot for me. This is a decent gangbang scene that could have easily been made better.

Denni O 38 is a pretty average gangbang movie with plenty of cream pies. I’m not much of a gangbang fan, and picked this one up for the cream pie aspect of it instead. Although there’s plenty of cream pies, the gangbang feeling is much stronger for the movie and that left the movie being not quite my thing. Even though it’s not quite my thing, it still had plenty to like as well as several faults. First, the bad stuff, which is pretty normal stuff for an amateur release. The camera work often leaves a bit to be desired with shots that leave heads cut off and that focus way too much on the penetration. The first can be corrected with a little more experience behind the camera, but the second struck me as just being wrong. There’s plenty of times when you see one of the two cameramen in the shots, and it left me feeling that either one guy had no business being behind the camera or that whoever edited it all together was more than a little lazy. The biggest problem for me here is that the movie felt much more like a professional movie than an amateur movie, which made these problems much stronger than they might have been. There’s also plenty of comments that most movies would leave out about setting things up for the cameras and getting guys to do things a little different that I’m guessing will be hit or miss for many people. There’s many people who will be more than a little turned off by it, and at the same time I can see many amateur movie fans enjoying it because it adds a bit of the reality that makes amateur movies so enjoyable. That amateur feeling is what worked best for me here. Neither Samantha nor Denni are what one would think of when thinking of a porn starlet, with Denni looking a bit aged and Samantha having the full figure that comes with naturally 46DD tits. In addition to not looking like typical porn stars, they don’t act like them. They look like they enjoy the sex so much more than the average porn starlet that I couldn’t help but smile through much of the release. Samantha’s vocals are great, and often put a smile on my face while Denni seemed just as enthusiastic going after the cum. The sex is okay, but as somebody who’s not much of a gangbang fan I got a bit bored with it. The technical aspects also leave a bit to be desired and there’s nothing really worth mentioning for extras. This is a pretty average gangbang on a lackluster overall DVD.

Note to Denni O / Sticky Video: A little more attention to your technical aspects would be very nice. Also, a few extras would really help out the overall package.
