The Short Story

Initial Expectations: Deeper quickly became one of my favorite series out there. I look forward to every new installment Robby and Digital Playground brings out.

Initial Reaction: It's not nearly as artistic as the rest of the series, but just as hot.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting the extremely artistic side of Robby D.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice a single background noise. As usual with Digital Playground, the video is nicely presented in anamorphic widescreen. There's a touch of grain to the presentation here that I can't help but think is intentional with Robby going for a film-like look, and the lighting is well done. The camera work gets a little fast with the editing sometimes being slightly choppy, but it's consistent enough throughout the movie that I can't help but think that it's some of the artistic feel that Robby went for here.

Music: There's a little music here and there. It's nicely balanced with the rest of the audio and never sticks around long enough to interfere with the action.

Menus: The main menu works together a little animation with a few stills for a decent first impression. The chapter menu is a touch generic giving you a clip of each scene and a chapter number to make your selection, but nicely gives you the name of each girl in her first chapter each time.

The Feature

With the Deeper series, Robby D. normally chooses a theme and then lets his artistic side out a little bit. Here he keeps things pretty simple artistically, and focuses on infidelities in suburbia.

Scene 1 – Katerina Kat and Jerry

Jerry, in a dark suit with a red shirt, starts things out with a little romance bringing hot dirty blonde Katerina, who's in a sexy black dress with white accents, red roses and talks about taking her to a nice restaurant before breaking out his cock and putting her hand on it to stroke it. The chemistry comes along nicely with the scene with both of them getting into it, and although the positions are definitely limited here it never really held the scene back. As usual with this series Robby gets a little artistic with his camera work, but that also didn't interfere with the action. This is a good scene to start the movie with.

Scene 2 – Audrey Bitoni and Scott Nails

Add in some great camera work and nice chemistry and you have a winner of a scene.

Scene 3 – Mikayla and Marco Banderas

I couldn't help but notice by this point that the positions were pretty much in the same order here as in the other scenes, but at the same time there was enough differences in the flavor of the scene to keep me fully interested in it and to not let that bring the scene down. This is another very well done scene that worked very well for me.

Scene 4 – Audrey Bitoni and Marco Banderas

With Scott at work, Audrey slips out of something comfortable and into something a little more comfortable for her time with Marco. They roll around and kiss on the bed while undressing each other before Audrey attacks Marco's cock orally. She rides him in each of the cowgirls while mixing in a little oral action, and even wears Marco's hat while fucking him. Not surprisingly, this is another darn hot scene. Once again Audrey is energetic and vocal, and quickly drew me into the scene. Yes, the positions are pretty much the same, but with how much fun Marco and Audrey were having it didn't stand out too badly. This is another very enjoyable scene.

Scene 5 – Isis Love and Jerry

Jerry returns with flowers and lines, this time for hot bottle blonde Isis, who's in a sexy black and white dress with sexy black patterned stockings. Marco talks her into a little playtime before they go out to eat, and after they tease each other a little bit Isis drops down to start sucking Jerry's cock. Not surprisingly, this is a great scene to end the movie with. I don't think I've seen Isis as a blonde before, and she nicely reminds be of Sophie Evans with her look. Naturally Robby captures it all very well, and it helped Deeper 6 to end at the same hot level that the rest of the movie moved along at.

Deeper 6 is another very nice piece of artistic porn. I've been a big fan of this series since watching the original Deeper, and although the series has had a few ups and downs, I really like the style. Each episode of Deeper has its own focus, and each time Robby D. seems to try a little something different for the presentation of the movie. I think that variation is a big part of why I like this series so much, as it's nice to see somebody as talented as Robby is behind the camera try something new here and there and this series has continually offered that. This time he focuses on infidelity and keeps things a bit more restrained artistically. The setups are simple but fun, but they're always a little sexy and definitely helped out by some nice care by Celeste putting some very nice care into the outfits. Best of all, the sex is remarkably consistent throughout the movie. I'd have a very hard time picking a favorite or least favorite scene, but with two scenes in the movie Audrey's definitely the star here. Those wanting nastier sex might not be as taken by Deeper 6 as I was since the movie never gets nastier than a little ass licking, and I can also see some people getting a little down on it because there isn't a lot of variety for the positions. That said, I'm glad that in addition to trying something new, Robby is comfortable enough with what he shoots to not feel like he needs to shoot circus porn filled with nastiness for the sake of nastiness and there was enough variety to the setups and moods for the scenes that the limited positions didn't bother me either. Robby might reign in his artistic side a bit with Deeper 6, but it's still filled with hot sex that's very easy on the eyes.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery can be viewed either at your own pace or as a nearly four minute slide show with about give seconds per very nice looking snapshot. Trailers are included for Pirates 2, Island Fever 4, Pirates, Cockasian, Jack’s Playground 32, Teagan's Juice, Deeper 4, and the Virtual Sex With... series. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, cumshot recaps, and contact information.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about six minutes. After a little fun around the set complete with singing, it moves around Audrey and Scott's scene with them hanging out as well as shooting the scene. There's also a little of them shooting her scene with Marco before Katerina shows off just how flexible she is (and if you get a chance to see her dance, make sure you take it because this was nothing compared to what she can do on a pole). Isis is next, who has a little fun with clothespins and shoots her scene with Jerry. There's also a very fun trailer made up from the movie as well as a bit of Mikayla and Marco getting it on. The laugh track at the start of this featurette was a bit annoying, but there's some good stuff here. The trailer is great and reason enough to check this out, but you also get a little fun with the stars and a little extra eye candy. For its length, this is a good behind the scenes featurette.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playground’s bigger releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. If you want sex on the lighter side of things with a touch of an artistic eye, this one should be well worth your time. The action is very consistent throughout the movie and there's some nice care put into the technical aspects. There's also a little effort put into the extras to help out the overall DVD. This is another nicely done Robby D. release.

Note to Digital Playground: It's nice to see you having a bit of fun with the behind the scenes featurette. It's even more nice to just see it included on your DVDs.
