Initial Expectations: The Deeper series has been one of my favorites from Digital Playground. I can't help but look forward to this one.

Initial Reaction: It's good but short.

Who Should Watch It : Anybody wanting good chemistry with a slightly artistic style

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a movie that goes over two hours, girl on girl, or group action

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done and a touch on the artistic side. The audio is clear and well balanced, and I didn't notice a single background noise. The video is presented in anamorphic widescreen and looks great. There's a slightly washed look to it that gives it a touch of an artistic look, but the camera work is smooth and the few shadows that appear look completely natural. This is a very nice looking and sounding movie.

Music: There's some sexy music that varies in balance with the rest of the audio. Sometimes it's nicely balanced with the rest of the audio while other times it's so quiet you can barely hear it.

Menus: The main menu blends a little animation with the cover stills for a pretty good first impression. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number that doesn't match up to the actual chapter numbers in the movie. It also lets you know who the girl is in her first chapter for each scene.

The Feature

Digital Playground's Deeper series has focused on style more than plot, and often chooses a theme to build the movie around. Here the theme has a touch of domination with a strong eye towards outfits and a loose Alice in Wonderland feel.

Scene 1 Lindsey Meadows and Marco Banderas

As Marco showers, cute brunette Lindsey watches him from outside. When he notices her they watch each other work themselves over tease each other through the glass until he opens it so they can kiss while he gropes her great ass. There's nice chemistry between them with the playful feeling sticking around throughout the scene, and the action is nicely captured. This is a nice scene to open the movie with.

Scene 2 Lacie Heart and Scott Nails

There's a part of me that would have liked a little more anal, but at the same time there's a good balance for it in the scene and it works well as it is. This is another nicely done scene.

Scene 3 Shay Jordan and Tommy Gunn

After Shay shows up at Tommy's looking kind of high class trashy, he leaves her to head into the bedroom where she sniffs his underwear. This is a pretty hot scene that left me wanting more.

Scene 4 - Lacie Heart and Scott Nails

This is another hot scene. The crop and blindfold opening is handled very well and the chemistry built very well through it. The sex once again left me wanting a little more rather than ending as it did, but it all has a very nice eye and a good feeling. This is another nicely done scene.

Scene 5 Carmel Moore and Ben English

As Ben washes up, dirty blonde Carmel walks in yelling at him so he decides to teach her a lesson. This is a hot scene with a touch of darkness that worked very well for me.

Deeper 10 is a hot fuck flick with a nice touch of an artistic eye. There's nothing which really ties the movie together outside of its style, and the style is handled well enough that I can't really complain about it. The slightly washed look to the movie gives it a touch of an artistic feel that sets it apart from so many of the other all sex movies that are out today, and helped to immediately draw me to it. I also enjoyed the varied setups and there's nice chemistry that comes out in each scene. As for the sex, it was nicely even throughout the movie. Lacie Heart easily stands out from the rest of the cast due to being the only girl to take it in the ass, and it stands out all the more due to her doing it in both of her scenes. As for complaints, the only one I can really have is that with the length, as the movie lasts just short of an hour and a half while the average adult film rarely goes under two hours anymore. That's a fairly minor complaint as I really did enjoy the entire movie rather than having a two hour movie with one scene that didn't do anything for me, but it still makes the movie seem a little less than its competition. Deeper 10 is another very nice addition to a great series.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery can be viewed either at your own pace or as a slide show lasting about three and a half minutes with about five seconds per very nice looking snapshot. Trailers are included for Pirates 2, Island Fever 4, Jacks Teen America: Mission 18, Babysitters, Sexual Freak 4: Jana, Hannah: Erotique, Pirates, and the Virtual Sex With... series. There's also weblinks and cumshot recaps.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts about ten and a half minutes. Brah Bones starts out behind the camera introducing the shoot before it moves around the shoot with plenty of little clips and a little chat with the always fun Shay Jordan. Lacey Heart and Lindsey Meadows also get a few comments in before they have some fun with Lindsey and Marco showing off and shooting the scene. You also get a bit of Carmel talking about not wanting to do big cocks and other whining about the scene before Lacie shoots the second scene. This is a decent behind the scenes featurette. You get a bit of personality from the stars, but it's much more straightforward than the normal DP BTS and not nearly as fun. This is a pretty behind the scenes behind the scenes featurette.

The Bottom Line:

Currently, many of Digital Playgrounds bigger releases can be found online for between about $18 and $28 with a few stores offering them for under $20. The low end is pretty good for this release. The sex is solid, but with the movie not even lasting an hour and a half it's hard to justify the upper end. The technical aspects are a touch artistic but nicely done, and there's a bit of effort put into the extras. This is a pretty good release, but it's not nearly as long as most other releases out there.

Note to Digital Playground: If you're going to release shorter releases like this, please let people know, put more effort into the extras, or drop the price a bit to justify it.
