Deep Inside Teri Weigel (Vivid) Review

Review:
If you popped your porn cherry in the 1990's, as I did, then there's almost zero chance that you haven't heard of the Playboy Playmate (Miss April, 1986) turned porn star, Teri Weigel. Indeed, Ms. Weigel made quite the splash back in the day in making her move from the softcore, girl-next-door publication to the raunch of dirty, hardcore sex flicks, with news of the transition spreading far and wide and making the rounds about the mainstream, tabloid media (clip from "HardCopy"). Along the way, she posed for Penthouse (also a rarity for a former Playmate, at least back then), appeared in mainstream television shows (i.e. "Married with Children"... clip, clip), and began working as a feature dancer, touring across the country. Teri's talents weren't solely limited to those involving her body, either, as she could hold a tune, as well ("Footloose"--Teri Weigel). Regardless of how you may have first heard of her or which part of her repertoire or past you find the most intriguing, there's certainly no arguing that Ms. Weigel holds a substantial spot in the history of the adult film industry, particularly as it pertains to the 1990's.

All of that said, enter: "Deep Inside Teri Weigel", an interesting (and sexy) release from Vivid Video that dates back to around the year 2000. As opposed to a typical porn film, this production focuses far more upon the non-hardcore elements of Teri's work than it does her straight-up fucking. Indeed, while there is an erotic, girl-on-girl sex scene in a bathtub in which Teri and her blonde pal, Crystal Wilder, sate one another's more feminine desires, most of the action involves Teri's (and, somewhat, others') stage-shows across the country. Generally, she's quite good at what she does, as her routines are quite hot and well thought-out. Highlighting some of the raunchier moments along the way, she does a lollipop insertion trick, gets into some audience participation, uses a vibrator, and even performs a brief, live sex act with another dancer...all up under the hot lights on the main stage. Certainly, this would have been a show worth seeing! Beyond the dancing, the film includes Teri doing a steamy shower scene, taking photos with the fans at a strip-club appearance, partaking in a radio interview in the nude, and even going nude fishing with a gal pal out on a lake. While this release--with its distinct lack of hardcore poking--won't be for everyone, Teri's fans (...of which I'm sure there are still plenty...) will likely rejoice in getting a different, deeper view of one of their favorite performers. As such...and for the correct crowd, this one is likely worth a look.
