Summary
“Deceived” by Wicked Pictures is a plot-driven, couples-friendly adult film that still manages to bring home hot sex from its incredibly beautiful cast of actresses and strong cast of actors. With two excellent scenes by Mikayla Mendez, one excellent scene by Kristina Rose, one very good scene by Kaylani Lei, a solid scene by Scarlett Fay, and good bonus materials, there is a lot to recommend this title. The acting abilities of Randy Spears and Mikayla Mendez also add a lot to the success of this disc, as do the high production values, whose only shortcoming is minor voice-over garbling from time-to-time. If you are looking for anal sex or male-to-female oral action, you might want to look elsewhere, as there isn’t any of this here. There is also a strict adherence to condom use. That said, none of these things get in the way of making this a highly recommendable DVD and one of the best of its genre.

Technical Note
I am watching this DVD through a widescreen, HDTV via an HDMI hook-up, and the visuals are stunning. My guess is that this would also look incredible on a regular television and using a regular DVD player, as well.

Inserting the Disc
Upon inserting the DVD, the standard warnings and notices roll, followed by some Wicked trailers, which are both enticing and different than the trailers presented in the “Special Features” (later). Of particular note here is a film that appears to have an actress vaginally inserting a pool cue as part of its offerings—hot stuff. After a few moments of inaction on the Main Menu, the feature begins on its own. So, let’s get started.

Opening Credits / Scene One
The movie starts with the Wicked logo animation followed by the credits, which begin as white lettering on a black screen and are interspersed this way between clips of Mikayla Mendez—a gorgeous, curvy Latina with long ebony hair—in a variety of states. During this time, Mikayla gives a quick voice-over preview of the upcoming plot, noting that she is being untruthful to someone as a result of circumstances beyond her control.

With the credits now continuing to play in white lettering over the beginning of Scene One, there is a transition to a kitchen where Mikayla pulls a burnt dinner from the oven and tosses it in the sink. She is wearing a flowery, white, sleeveless dress with a couple of horizontal brown stripes on it. While her garb is that of a house-wife, it is apparent that her cooking skills are not. Mikayla is visibly distraught over her lack of training in the culinary arts, and, after an interspersed cut to Randy Spears (her husband) at the office boasting about her, there is a further cut to the two of them in bed eating take-out later on. Randy is, of course, the ever-understanding gentleman.

As you might have guessed, his compassion pays off, as there is a quick transition into some sensual making out. This is followed by the top of Mikayla’s dress coming down, revealing her large, enhanced-but-beautiful breasts, which Randy suckles and delights in. It isn’t long before Randy’s cock comes out, his pants come off, and Mikayla sucks him to attention. A sexy blowjob with some good hand-work ensues. This scene generates a lot of heat as it goes along and doesn’t sag at any point. Both performers seem to be quite into one another, and Mikayla’s work here is excellent. Of note is her ability to move and grind during sex, the multiple camera angles that capture the action well, and how good Mikayla looks when she gets a little bit sweaty. This is an excellent scene between two great players on the stage that is adult entertainment.

My Wife’s Opinion: My wife felt that this scene was hot and had a good setting for the activities—a brown, fur-covered bed in a bedroom with a brick wall behind the bed. She also liked how attractive both participants were, and she found the long woman-on-top sequence to be a welcome divergence from the norm.

Scene Two
This scene picks up where the first scene left off, with a cut to Mikayla and Randy in bed. While Randy sleeps, Mikayla looks at him for a time and then gets out of bed and hits the shower. There are some good close-ups of her body here, as she washes, puts on her leopard-print bra and thong set, and then does her make-up. There is then a faded cut to Mikayla in the lingerie in another bedroom—there is another man (Eric Masterson) there. As this is going on, there is a voice-over advancement of the plot, with Mikayla explaining that she had met Randy via the internet as a “mail-order bride” of sorts. She had married him to help fund a medical procedure for an ailing family member but soon realized that he didn’t have the financial status that she had originally thought. As such, she is working as a high-class prostitute and keeping it a secret from Randy.

During this, Mikayla crosses part of the bedroom and crawls across the predominantly-black bed with cushioned, black leather headboard that is in the room. She is heading toward Eric—a client—who immediately gets up and walks over to the bed to meet her. Mikayla unbuttons his shirt and pants, and she then begins to work his cock with her hand a bit before fully exposing it and taking it into her eager mouth. Next off is Mikayla’s bra, followed by more hot hand and oral work on Eric, including some mild deep-throating.

After this, there is a cut to Mikayla on top of Eric, with him inside of her (condom). As with Randy in the first scene, she gives a spectacular woman-astride performance here. This leads into more standard boy-girl activities—again made hot by Ms. Mendez and her sexual prowess. Amongst the highlights are: the aforementioned woman-atop action; a sexy, leg-up, rear-entry pounding; and a pop-shot (decent load) in which Masterson ejaculates in Mikayla’s mouth and on her face, followed by some oral clean-up of his member by Ms. Mendez.

This scene is another scorcher, though not quite as good as the last and, perhaps, just a bit too similar to it in terms of the sex. That said, the mood and camera-work are once again excellent, with some really great from-behind shots of Mikayla’s backside bouncing as she rides Eric’s engorged member. This is but one of the many examples of the excellent goings-on in this scene, which overall delivers quite well. Again, the sweat and Mikayla’s enthusiastic attitude play perfectly toward raising the temperature, and there is good chemistry between the participants.

My Wife’s Opinion: My wife liked the sensual nature of this scene, particularly the use of the more artistic angles and lighting for the visuals. She also found that Mikayla’s complete immersion in the sex made the action more enjoyable and captivating. She felt that this allowed her to relate better to the female lead. In terms of the guys, she liked Eric Masterson a good deal more than she did Randy Spears from Scene One.

Scene Three
This scene starts out with Randy and Mikayla eating a very simple dinner back at their place, followed by a cut to Mikayla reading a text message from Randy in which he tells her that he loves her. As all of this occurs, there is some small talk between the two at the table and then some voice-over work by Mikayla in which she expresses some of her good feelings for Randy, expresses her unhappiness with being deceptive, and also delineates how she keeps from being discovered.

There is then a cut to Randy Spears and Michael Raven at work discussing Michael’s failed marriage to a Russian woman. Randy asks if he can tell him “something in confidence” about his own wife, and there is a cut to Mikayla back at home. She is coming out from behind a sheet-like decorative hanging and is wearing a sleeveless, multi-colored dress and large, round sun-glasses.

There is another cut to Barrett Blade and Scarlett Fay making out on a yellow couch in an apartment. Scarlett is wearing a black and white plaid skirt, a loose black shirt, and a pair of black leather boots. Her skin is a creamy white, and her shoulder-length hair has a strawberry blonde hue; she also has a thin, early-20’s build. She and Barrett are entangled quite well as their intense kissing continues.

It doesn’t take long for Scarlett’s top to come open, revealing her perky, natural breasts, as she plays with her fully-shaved panty-less crotch. Shortly, Barrett’s thick, hard cock is out of his pants and in Scarlett’s mouth, as Barrett works her smooth femininity with his hand and fingers while reaching around her. This is a solid scene with two attractive performers, but it lacks a lot of the heat of the first two, and it is a bit too frantic for my tastes. I understand the notion of mixing up the pace a bit—and it certainly accomplishes this—but it just doesn’t stand up to the other two. Perhaps it is simply a matter of Scenes One and Two being so extraordinary that this scene pales in comparison, as opposed to any shortcoming of the scene itself. Its purpose relative to the plot of the movie is also questionable. Still, it’s certainly not bad by any stretch of the imagination, either.

My Wife’s Opinion: My wife found this scene to be on the tepid side, and it really didn’t do much for her in terms of keeping her interest or attention. She found the peacock statuette, with its potential symbolism, to be more intriguing than the performance itself. Even though she is generally a big fan of Barrett Blade, this one just didn’t do it for her.

Scene Four
This scene opens with Randy continuing his conversation with Michael Raven at the office. He notes that Mikayla has become somewhat despondent and aloof as of late, and this concerns him.

There is a cut to Randy and Mikayla in bed, and Randy is questioning her about a phone call that she didn’t know that he had made. Randy asks her if she loves him or if she ever might, but Mikayla doesn’t respond. There is then a voice-over of Mikayla that accompanies a cut to her sitting on a large, light-blue, rounded couch. She is holding her cell phone, and she notes that she is unhappy about her deceptions and that she needs to find a way to patch things up with Randy.

On the other side of the couch, Chris Cannon has his engorged cock out of his pants and is receiving a blowjob from Kaylani Lei, a gorgeous actress of Asian descent wearing a black evening dress. Mikayla is largely apathetic to the whole situation, answering Chris’ questions of her with a distracted, unenthusiastic tone. Kaylani, on the other hand, is anything but unenthusiastic as she gives Chris head, which goes on for a good deal of time before a cut brings in Chris taking her from behind (doggie-style; condom). Mikayla leaves the room before this cut occurs, and the sex continues in a typical boy-girl fashion. While being penetrated, we see that Kaylani has a fully-shaven cooch and perky, natural breasts, which go well with her long, black hair and sophisticated, thin Asian look.

Some of the more exciting action that occurs during this sequence is: the initial doggie-style sex; great cowgirl riding, grinding, and moving by Kaylani on Chris’ unit; and a finishing two-handed jerk-off of Chris by Kaylani, leading to Chris spilling his seed on his clothes and Kaylani’s hands. After some oral clean-up of Chris’ cock by Kaylani, the scene essentially ends.

Overall, Kaylani does an excellent job in this scene. Not only does she look gorgeous, but she really knows how to put out the sexual energy—particularly when riding a cock. While Chris is kind of along for the ride, he does do his part. The chemistry between the two is a bit lacking here, though. This scene, like the last, doesn’t stand up well against the first two, but it is certainly better than the previous one and definitely worth a watch. In total, this is a very good portion of the DVD.

My Wife’s Opinion: My wife really liked the diversity of the sex in this scene and found it to be the best of the movie to this point. She liked the strong effort that Kaylani put out and how into it she was. She would have liked for Chris to have at least taken his pants off, however, as they remained on the entire time. Still, this scene definitely worked for her.

Scene Five
Through a voice-over, Mikayla notes that her ailing relative has had the medical procedure and that she has but one more payment before it’s all over. With this, she joins Randy on a rooftop and assuages his concerns by telling him that “there’s hope” for the two of them.

There is then a cut to the day upon which Mikayla would do her “last job”, and Randy is seen walking into their kitchen. He finds a note from her, but its contents aren’t revealed. During all of this, there is a voice-over by Mikayla where she expresses her dilemma of whether to be truthful with Randy or head back to Mexico.

There is another cut to a room with male porn star, Sascha, wearing a black-with-white-pinstripes suit, seated with brunette beauty, Kristina Rose, wearing a loose red dress, on a modern, black leather couch. The two are having drinks, and Mikayla’s legs are shown walking through the shot.

Sascha and Kristina put their drinks down on a futuristic, light-brown coffee table, and Sascha takes Kristina’s smooth, white leg in his hands and begins to caress it. Within moments, the two begin to make out and Kristina’s dress rides up to reveal her black panties. She has a good deal of bush (shaven lips, however), and some of it pops out of the sides of the panties. While a bit retro, this is also a bit of a turn-on—reminiscent of a “forbidden” glimpse, if you will.

Sascha works her through her dainty undies a bit before Kristina begins to stroke him through his pants. As this is going on, the top of Kristina’s dress is pulled aside and then taken down, giving full access to her perky, natural breasts and beautiful nipples.

After a period of Mikayla being a model housewife, Randy accepts her apologies, and the film essentially ends with a hopeful kiss between the two on the rooftop.

As far as the sex in this scene goes, it is off-the-hook incredible. Kristina and Sascha have an amazing amount of chemistry and literally fuck the Hell out of each other (pardon the French). Everything clicks and falls into place here sexually, and the action never drags. This scene is as good as—or perhaps better than—any of the other scenes in the film. It’s excellent.

As for the plot, this scene nicely ties up all of the loose ends and comes to a close on a hopeful note. The strong storyline of this film is effectively closed here—kudos to the writing / directing team, and kudos to Randy Spears and Mikayla Mendez for their phenomenal acting.

My Wife’s Opinion: My wife liked the chemistry and the romping in this scene, but she found Kristina’s vocalizations to be on the excessive side and found them to be somewhat distracting; she also wished that Kristina would have taken a breather at times. Other than that, she enjoyed the scene, particularly the fact that Kristina wasn’t rail-thin, but instead was natural.

Bonus Materials
In terms of bonus materials, there are two categories accessible from the Main Menu: a trailer for the film and the “Special Features”.

The “Special Features” option holds a variety of bonus goodies. The most prominent item here is the extra sex scene between Mikayla Mendez and Tommy Gunn that takes place in a garage with a hot rod. The hottest part of this scene has to be Mikayla’s denim micro-skirt / no-panties combination—a smoking way to open a smoking sequence. There is also a good BTS segment as an option—as always, providing a glimpse into the making of a porn movie. There’s a “Photo Gallery” that consists of a slideshow of pics and stills from the movie. There are a number of “Trailers” for various Wicked products and a “Promo Reel” that features the Wicked girls in luxurious settings. The “More Adult Fun” option plays through a number of advertisements for phone sex lines and the like. These never really make me want to call such numbers, but, if anything, make me want to see some of the films from which their accompanying clips have been taken. There are also some “DVD-Rom Materials” for the computer / tech-savvy out there.

Closing Statement
Overall, this DVD is a top-notch, couples-friendly endeavor that scores hits on both the plot-line and the sex. With two excellent scenes by Mikayla Mendez, one excellent scene by Kristina Rose, a very good scene by Kaylani Lei, and a solid scene by Scarlett Fay, this movie easily rises well above many others that are out there. While there is no anal nor male-to-female oral action here, and the use of condoms is strictly adhered to, it still comes out as a big winner. The production values are also high, with the relatively minor exception of some of the voice-over segments sounding a bit choppy and garbled at times. The bonus materials are excellent, as well. I highly recommend this DVD.
