Decadence (H2 Video) Review

Not to be confused with either the VCA title, or Andrew Blake's Studio A title of the same name..

The film starts with Michelle and a friend getting out of a swimming pool, while some "plot", the gist of which is "what should I do about these dreams" is dubbed over the top of their dialogue. I smell a vignette film coming on somehow...

Scene One: "Michelle", Vin Diesel lookalike.

A reasonably attractive dark-haired woman walks down some steps, then up some steps, past a guy doing his best Vin Diesel impersonation. She is heavily made-up. We cut to a toilet, where she sits, then she crawls across the floor to his crotch as he leans against the wall. His pants fall down and so she naturally starts sucking on his cock. The next cut features her astide the sink while Vin (now totally naked) pounds away from behind. The fake moaning reaches the point where I turn the sound off in the interest of my own sanity. Next is RAC. At this time she is still wearing her stockings and her top. She bounces up and down for a couple of minuts, then lays back, still in RCA and we continue for another two minutes.. quite frankly by this stage I'm bored.

I found this scene tedious again, and I like MMF scenes. It was reasonably lit, but the set was very dark. 12mins

Her outfit is thigh-high PVC boots with black stockings, and the PVC-S&M themed outfir she's wearing on the back cover. It's darker than it should be again, but it's Michelle, so it's bearable. I enjoyed this scene more than the other two combined, though that's largely because it was Michelle here, though it was also better as far as the action goes as well. 13mins.

A blonde woman who calles herself "Blue" is interviewed by the Psych. From this I assumed it was Genna Blue, though the scene selection says it's "Jennifer". Anyway, she's never been to a psych either. She has long blonde hair, a piercing in her right eyebrow and a stud in her left nostril and tells us of when she was raped in a parking garage. Lovely. Now we get to see it as a sex scene. Fantastic. This is why I watch porn with the sound off.

Scene Four: Jennifer Dark, some guy.

She's forced over her car's bonnet, her pants are pulled down and she's fingered, then taken from behind with a fair bit of pounding. The guy does a bit of spitting onto her pussy and grabbing of her buttcheeks. After awhile he enters her asshole which makes her wince a fair bit and screws her for awhile. Now for some anal missionary on the bonnet of the car. Next is anal doggy on the floor of the garage with a tiny bit of gaping. A decent scene, finally. Helped immensely by the good-looking cast, the fact that it was well lit, and that it looked comfortable being shot on a bed. 10mins.

Then we cut back to the Psych's office where he pulls out sa porn mag and tries to give head to the women on the pages. We see him wander around the office, then his secretary, Claudia Ferrarri comes in and asks for the afternoon off. He tells her he only hired her because she's good looking, not because of her intelligence, and by the way he asks if this really is her in this porn magazine, which makes him angry because it's not respectable. If she's going to do such things they'll need to come to an agreement, and apparently she's quite happy with the idea. Watch out, he's wearing a watch! (although it fits the character and context).

Scene Six: Claudia Ferarri, the guy who plays the Psychologist.

They kiss on the couch while he rubs various parts of Claudia's body and they undress a little. She gives him head while still wearing her white shirt. She is typically made up for porn and her eyelashes are so huge it's distracting in the close-ups. She takes her top off and then her bra, continuing to suck all the while. For the BTS, we see Michelle getting her makeup applied by a very tattooed man, Michelle reads a magazine while her hair is very wet, Michelle gets dressed, Michelle exposes her breasts to post with a large bowl of Pasta, Michelle fixes her makeup, and is then photographed for the "pretty girl" (boxcover/promotional) shots in a variety of fetching outfits. We're then treated to a 4-way splitscreen between some of the action, Michelle posing, and getting photographed some more.

The audio for the entire time so far has simply been a musical overlay with no true audio, taking away any sense of intimacy from the BTS footage. Then, jarringly there's about 20 seconds of some guys speaking Italian(?) in a parking garage standing around the car from the rape scene. The BTS footage then ends.

The Slideshow is 2:45 of stills taken in sequence. There are trailers for 3 of Woodman's Superfuckers, Inside my Panties I, II & III (which seems to have Spinal Tap's Nigel Tufnel doing the voiceover), Leg affair 2, Golden Girls and Sport Babes.

Thoughts:
Everyone in the film seemed sweaty after the first scene, it much have been pretty hot whenever this was shot.

Cast names are interesting, since from the front of the box Genna Blue is MIA (unless that really was her in the car park scene identified by the scene selection as "Jennifer". The scene select also helpfully tells us that Michelle Wild's name is both "Claudia" and "Gina" and that Claudia Ferarri is "Jessica".

Overall this DVD's only saving graces are the 2 scenes with Michelle Wild and the scene with Claudia Ferarri, but then again I've seen far better scenes in far better DVDs with both women. If I hadn't gotten this one quite cheap I'd be pissed off. As it is I'm only annoyed.
