Dark Side of Brooklyn Chase 2, The Review

As I mentioned in a previous review, before I grew my large IR porn DVD collection to include a wider variety of titles, I first started buying compilation and original star showcases of my favorite female performers. The Dark Side of Brooklyn Chase Volume 2 was the very first porn DVD I ever purchased and is without question one of my top favorite releases.

Released in 2021 this volume 2 DVD collection from Blacks On Blondes is a long-awaited follow-up to The Dark Side of Brooklyn Chase from Dogfart which was released on DVD back in 2014. Starting in 2017, Dogfart/Blacks On Blondes began releasing compilation star showcases for other female performers who had shot numerous interracial scenes for their website over the years. Brooklyn Chase was the first girl to receive a volume 2 release in their The Dark Side of DVD compilation star showcase series, which isn't that surprising considering Brooklyn Chase holds the record of being the most shot girl in the history of the site. Assuming there will be more DVD releases in the years to come, The Dark Side of Brooklyn Chase should have several more DVD volumes for fans to look forward to. It should be noted that another prolific IR performer Janet Mason at one time held the record for being the site's most shot girl but Brooklyn eventually matched her record and then made new history. Although not part of The Dark Side of DVD series, Janet Mason did have 2 Dogfart DVD releases titled Janet Mason: The Queen of Interracial and Janet Mason: The Queen of Interracial Volume 2. In my opinion Brooklyn Chase is more than worthy of being Janet's successor and it's to be determined if Dogfart/Blacks On Blondes will package some of Brooklyn's many remaining scenes into The Dark Side of Brooklyn Chase Volume 3, 4 and 5 or perhaps package them into a Brooklyn Chase: The Queen of Interracial DVD series. Just an idea for consideration!

The 6 scenes included in this DVD release were originally released as webscenes in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2018 for blackmeatwhitefeet.com, blacksonblondes.com, cuckoldsessions.com and gloryhole.com all directed by Billy Watson. The male talent for these scenes are: Brian Pumper, Charlie Mac, Dillon Cox, Isiah Maxwell, Jason Brown, John Johnson, Jovan Jovan, Lucas Stone and Mandingo. Three scenes are of Brooklyn Chase with her original 32DD breast implants and the other three scenes are of Brooklyn Chase with her 32G breast implants.

On the front cover is Brooklyn Chase and Charlie Mac from Brooklyn's very first Cuckold Sessions scene. The same image is on the DVD cover's spine and is also on the disc artwork of the DVD itself. I personally prefer Brooklyn's 32G breasts but considering most of her career Dogfart scenes from 2014 onward are with her bigger tits I suppose I can understand the decision to use an image of Brooklyn with her 32DD breasts as there won't be opportunities in the future to use older artwork as all her older scenes with her 32DD implants are either on this volume 2 DVD or the 2014 volume 1 DVD. Surprising there are many clueless and ignorant viewers who thought (or still think) that Brooklyn began her career with natural breasts. Sorry not true! Brooklyn has been very public about the fact that she had fake breasts prior to doing porn and got her first surgery when she was 19. If you're a picky fan who insists on only watching porn of natural only women, in my opinion you're denying yourself a lot of great content. There's also a good chance plenty of girls you think are natural have had some work done but don't share that info. Brooklyn is objectively one of the best looking women (face and body) to ever do porn so if you're going to deny yourself and not watch her scenes because of stubbornness or a flawed rule you gave yourself it's your loss.

This DVD is a pressed disc with a total running time of 2 hours 47 minutes 44 seconds for all 6 scenes.

NTSC 480i (853 x 480 standard definition resolution) at 30 frames per second with a widescreen aspect ratio. Interestingly there are some black bars on the sides on the DVD that aren't seen in the streams and downloads of the webscenes. I could be mistaken but it would appear a 1.66:1 aspect ratio is used for this DVD release, an aspect ratio that is more common in Europe but unlike a 4:3 (1.33:1) full screen aspect ratio, the black bars aren't as large and noticeable. Most porn DVDs have a 16:9 (1.78:1) aspect ratio so the entire image is filled on a widescreen TV without any black bars.

The audio is Dolby Digital 2.0 48kHz at 192 kbps.

During my research for my DVD collecting I noticed some databases list different scene orderings, likely referenced from specific VOD platforms. Either by order of original webscene release, alphabetical order of the talent's name or order of each scene's production date. In my opinion the DVD ordering is the definitive order so I will always mention the exact scene ordering in all my reviews.

Scene 1. Brooklyn Chase, Charlie Mac and Marcelo

Depending on your personal taste (or tolerance) for certain fetishes, this very first scene might be a deal breaker for some viewers. Depending on your feelings about femdom, light raceplay and some bisexual acts you will either really like this scene or strongly dislike it. There's no Boy/Boy sex between male talent but there is a cum clean-up between Marcelo and Brooklyn and Marcelo is dressed in a sissy outfit and frequently sucks on a large black dildo. There are also moments where Brooklyn will suck on Charlie's dick and then kiss Marcelo giving him an indirect taste. Given the choice I would've preferred the scene without Marcelo sucking on a sex toy but Brooklyn was the main focus so it was very easy to pay attention to her action instead. This scene also had an outdated negative stereotype where Charlie Mac plays a dangerous gang member but in the context of the scene it works as Brooklyn threatens to have Charlie beat up Marcelo if he doesn't obediently follow orders. There is also a moment where Brooklyn compares the size of Charlie and Marcelo's dicks. Being flaccid and locked in a chastity cage obviously Marcelo is on the losing side here but even if he was erect, Charlie Mac has a very big dick that is bigger than a lot of male talent in the industry regardless of race. Brooklyn has said in interviews that she considers herself more submissive than dominant so this scene is a rare occurrence where she takes full charge and plays a convincing mistress. Charlie Mac delivered a strong cumshot and the chemistry between Brooklyn and Charlie was very good. Overall I liked this scene. I don't know if I would've made this the very first scene on the DVD as it might shock an uninformed viewer who blind buys this disc, but if it's not your thing you can easily skip to Scene 2. This Cuckold Sessions scene was previously released on DVD as Cuckold Sessions 20 in 2015.

Scene 2. Brooklyn Chase and Brian Pumper

Although I enjoyed all 6 scenes on this DVD if asked, this scene would be my least favorite. While I'll never complain about a footjob briefly being included in a scene I don't specifically seek out foot fetish content. This is also the shortest scene on the DVD. The scene has no vaginal penetration and I think Dogfart eventually realized they needed to add more actual sex and not only footjobs to keep viewers interested as for several years now blackmeatwhitefeet.com scenes regularly include vaginal sex and sometimes anal sex too. You don't often see Brooklyn wearing glasses in her scenes so that's one unique thing some viewers might want to check out. This Black Meat White Feet scene was previously released on the DVD as Black Meat White Feet 1 in 2016.

Scene 3. Brooklyn Chase, John Johnson and Lucas Stone

This was an excellent scene! It was Brooklyn's follow-up to her very well received Interracial Pickups scene (IR debut) with Mandingo back in 2012 and this time Dogfart gave her 2 studs for her first IR threesome. A lot of hardcore fucking and the foreplay leading up to the sex was very good. Fans of both facials and creampies will be happy as Lucas and John gave Brooklyn both and the loads were very impressive, Lucas Stone actually cums twice. Some girls can't comfortably handle more than 1 dick but Brooklyn showed early on in her career she's capable of handling numerous guys all at the same time. It's not always noticeable on-camera but Brooklyn is 5 ft 2 in so being a shorter girl is even more impressive in my opinion. This Blacks On Blondes scene was previously released on DVD as Thug Creampies 2 in 2015.

Scene 4. Brooklyn Chase, Isiah Maxwell and Jovan Jordan

As much as I enjoy IR porn I'll be honest and say Glory Hole scenes are my least favorite. I feel the male talent is restricted by the wall so the penetration isn't as good as it would be without its presence. Porn is primarily made by men for men but in my opinion Glory Hole flip things around (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) where the woman is in control and she's the one objectifying the man instead of how it normally is. However this scene is the exception to my lukewarm thoughts on the content and is highly recommended. Isiah and Jovan have some of the best popshots in the industry and Brooklyn received both a big creampie and facial. Although their dicks are long it also helped that Brooklyn was very enthusiastic and moved her own hips to enhance the limited penetration. I also think the set being in the backroom of an adult video store is better than some of the Glory Hole scenes shot in a bathroom. Fun fact a lot of the DVDs on the shelves Brooklyn browses are real Dogfart/Blacks On Blondes titles. This Glory Hole scene was previously released on DVD as Interracial Gloryhole Creampies 1 in 2016.

Scene 5. Brooklyn Chase, Dillon Cox, Jason Brown, Cuckold Jay

Similar to Scene 1 this scene might not be for everyone. There no sissy gagging on a black dildo this time but there is a creampie clean-up at the end. Fans of anal sex will be happy that Brooklyn does anal and ass to mouth in this scene. Brooklyn plays the role of a therapist and gets to flex some of her acting skills. Shot in 2018 you also see the progress of Brooklyn's blowjob skills (which were already pretty good to begin with) Her gagging is improved and her comfort doing anal is noticeable. She did a few anal scenes early in her career but then went several years not doing it because she originally found it too painful. Would've liked to have had DP included but overall it's still a very good scene. Brooklyn's third Cuckold Sessions appearance also marks the final time Billy Watson would direct Brooklyn in a Dogfart scene before he left the studio to focus on his own (non-IR) sites. This Cuckold Sessions scene was previously released on DVD as Cuckold Sessions 35 in 2020.

Scene 6. Brooklyn Chase and Mandingo

No hesitation this is my number 1 favorite scene on this DVD, one of my favorite Brooklyn Chase scenes of all-time and I think one of the best interracial scenes ever! Fans had been requesting for Brooklyn to work with Mandingo again and Dogfart gave the fans what they wanted. If you enjoy JOI and femdom, the intro to this scene might be one of the very best examples of how to do it correctly and effectively. I wouldn't be surprised if this was actually meant to be a scene for cuckoldsessions.com as Brooklyn speaks as if the viewer is a cuckold watching Mandingo dominate her but TPTB at Dogfart decided to release it on blacksonblondes.com instead as that is their more popular site and Brooklyn had quickly became a fan favorite. This was her 9th scene overall for Dogfart which shows you how much Brooklyn liked shooting for Dogfart and how much they liked bringing her back. Brooklyn had become a master at dirty talk and reading a script in the most natural way. Throughout the scene she constantly praises and worships Mandingo while mocking the viewer. Having experienced arguably the largest dick in all of porn before, Brooklyn knew what to expect and was more comfortable handling his size than their first time together. A fun fact is that in 2014 Brooklyn shot another scene with Mandingo for West Coast Productions' Mandingo's Naughty Wives Club 3 DVD which was later released in 2015. It's debatable which scene is better. Mandingo's cumshot in the WCP scene is bigger but the Blacks On Blondes scene is longer and has better lighting. Regardless of which 2014 scene was shot first, both Brooklyn and Mandingo clearly enjoyed working together and would reunite together again in more scenes years later. This Blacks On Blondes scene was previously released on DVD as Mandingo: The King of Interracial 1 in 2015.

Despite being in standard definition and DVD compression in general is not very good, I'm happy to report there were no distracting video artifacts on this disc! A rule of thumb should be that DVDs are under 3 hours in running time, ideally 2 hours 40 minutes max. Any more than that and you're pushing your luck. Cramming more footage as many companies do (with 4 hours) will lower the bitrate, increases the odds of a glitch (which they won't care or bother to fix later) and discourage fans from buying official discs if no proper effort is going to be put into them. Blu-ray disc with its superior compression would solve those issues, but if companies are too frugal to support it then at least consider a 2-disc DVD collection. DVDs are dirt cheap to make for goodness sake! The running time for The Dark Side of Brooklyn Chase Volume 2 is slightly above my desired running time range but thankfully the DVD is glitch free.

Other than a potential pressed Blu-ray disc upgrade in the future (with MPEG-4 AVC and lossless audio as either LPCM, DTS-HD Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD) this DVD gets good marks for its video and sound quality.

Although I owned 1080p HD and 4K Ultra HD downloads of Brooklyn's Dogfart webscenes I didn't know what to expect from the video and audio quality for porn DVDs. I was familiar with the content that I knew I would enjoy it but a poorly made disc could have easily given me buyer's remorse. Thankfully my very first porn DVD purchase went very well and convinced me to give other titles and studios a chance!
