Damn Fine Pie: A Twin Peaks Parody is the last adult movie to be shot by Kink at The Armory before they closed it as a shooting location. Damn Fine Pie is a vignette style gangbang scene by director Madeline Marlowe for Kink for their Hardcore Gangbang website. As is indicated by the title, Damn Fine Pie is influenced by David Lynch and Mark Frost's 1990s television show Twin Peaks. Damn Fine Pie was released by Kink shortly prior to the premiere of Showtime's Twin Peaks: The Return.

Damn Fine Pie doesn't have a plot of sorts but does have an elaborate set-up to the scene. There is a 13-minute set-up for the vignette after which the vignette goes into the 29-minute gangbang scene. The set-up for Damn Fine Pie is that Audrey Horne (Amber Ivy) is seeing Dr. Jacoby (Tommy Pistol) to try and cope with the death of her friend Laura Palmer. She expresses a desire to understand the darker side of Palmer's life and goes and gets a job at One Eyed Jack's Brothel and Casino. There Horne is broken in by Dr. Jacoby, Leo Johnson (Jon Jon), James Hurley (Owen Gray), Ben Horne (Mickey Mod), and Bobby Briggs (Will Havoc).

Marlowe and the set designers have done a great job creating the feel of the old Twin Peaks television series in the three sets that Damn Fine Pie utilizes. No, you aren't going to see exact replicas of the sets from Twin Peaks — nor should any viewer really expect to. All that a viewer can ask for, which is the feel of the series, is present here. The three sets are Dr. Lawrence Jacoby's office and two rooms at Benjamin Horne's One Eyed Jack's. Like the set designers, the costume designers also did an amazing job with Damn Fine Pie, even down to Dr. Jacoby's red and blue tinted glasses.

Crybaby Martinez, the cinematographer, did an absolutely excellent job of shooting Damn Fine Pie. The non-sexual scenes in the lead-in to the sex scene were wonderfully shot with a great eye for detail and the shot. Likewise, the gangbang scene was nicely shot as well with a variety of angles and differing fields of vision. As a result, the movie never feels repetitive or quickly churned out. The technical aspects are rounded out with great music that was very thematically appropriate for a Twin Peaks inspired movie.

This brings us to a shortcoming with Damn Fine Pie, the character development. Understandably, Damn Fine Pie is a vignette, not a feature, which doesn't leave much room for character development; however, this means that viewers unfamiliar with Twin Peaks won't get any of the relations of the characters to each other. Marlowe tries to work in some details in the gangbang dialog like the fact that Ben Horne is Audrey's father. However, this does end up downplaying some of the taboo nature of the scene.

Amber Ivy does a great job with the role of Audrey with the non-sexual portions and enthusiastically takes on the gangbang scene. Tommy Pistol does a great job with the role of Dr. Jacoby as well. The rest of the cast, with the exception of Madeline Marlowe, who has a small cameo, is only there for the gangbang. All of the cast members stay in their character for the gangbang, including those who are only there for the gangbang, which is a definite plus. Some viewers, especially those familiar with the television series, may not like some of Marlowe's casting choices since she has cast Jon Jon, a black male, in the role of the trucker Leo and Mickey Mod, also a black male, in the role of One Eyed Jack's owner Ben Horne. However, before fans of the show get upset over the casting choices they ought to watch Damn Fine Pie since both do a great job with their roles.

Damn Fine Pie has one sex scene, the 29-minute full cast — with the exception of Marlowe — gangbang that takes up the bulk of the running time. The gangbang is well done and choreographed well so that the camera manages to get good views of the action that is going on. All the participants certainly appear to be enjoying themselves and enthusiastically throw themselves into the sex scene. There is a nice variety of sexual acts performed and the positions used so that the scene always seems fresh.

Honestly, at the end of Damn Fine Pie, this reviewer wished that Marlowe had made a full blown feature movie. Marlowe has captured so much of Twin Peaks within Damn Fine Pie; I am sure that she could have pulled off a full blown appropriate for Kink feature with a story that revisited the odd town of Twin Peaks. As it ended up, Damn Fine Pie is well-done and well worth watching.

Kink has done a nice job with their streaming release of Damn Fine Pie. Damn Fine Pie was shot digitally and is presented in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1. In addition to streaming, Damn Fine Pie can be downloaded in high definition, large, small, and medium mobile file sizes. Damn Fine Pie looks beautiful with no blemishes at all during the presentation. The image is crisp and clean with beautifully detailed definition. There is a bug with the Kink logo and HardcoreGangbang.com in the lower right-hand corner of the screen throughout the movie.

The movie opens with a five-minute talk with Amber Ivy about the scene and about Ivy's do and don't. The movie closes with a three-minute piece with Ivy's exit interview. This makes the movie run time, with the opening and closing piece a total of 55 minutes.

Damn Fine Pie is presented with an English Stereo audio track. There aren't any issues with the audio whatsoever. The music is nicely balanced throughout the movie and the dialog is crisp and clear and can be easily understood at all times during the movie.

Kink has included a couple of extras with their streaming release of Damn Fine Pie. There is a downloadable photo gallery and the trailer for the movie is also included.

Damn Fine Pie: A Twin Peaks Parody is a vignette-style gangbang movie from Kink's Hardcore Gangbang by director Madeline Marlowe. Damn Fine Pie is inspired by the television series Twin Peaks and Marlowe has done an excellent job of emulating the feel of the television show especially considering the limited time the movie runs for. Damn Fine Pie combines some good acting with a well-done gangbang. Damn Fine Pie is also notable for being the final movie shot in The Armory. Kink has done a good job with their streaming and downloadable release of Damn Fine Pie with an exceptional image quality and beautifully sounding audio.
