The island of Hilo is a virtual Eden. Nude male bodies against this lush natural setting make DAMIAN FORD IN HAWAII one of the most beautiful porn films I’ve seen. If there’s a problem with this film, it’s that the sex plays second fiddle to the setting. Not that I really minded that. I don’t think you will either. The film contains no dialogue. A wise choice as it would only take away from the visual.

There is only a cast of five. Four seasoned pros (Damian Ford, Rob Romoni, Kent Larson, and Marco Paris) joined by one newcomer (Casper Sloan). I used to think Damian Ford was an incredibly sexy guy with beautiful hair adorning his torso. In this film he has opted to bleach the hair on his head so that it’s snow white and has shaved all that magnificent fur from his torso. As a result he looks somewhat like an aged crustacean without its shell. (Give me back my beast!)

The film opens with Damian and Rob exchanging blowjobs by a rushing stream while the other three sit on the opposite back and watch Damian fuck Rob. So startled was I by Damian’s metamorphosis that I really didn’t get into the sex at all.

To sum up. DAMIAN IN HAWAII is a visual treat. Once you see this, Hilo will become the place of your dreams. The film is an awesome effort for Ford as a first-time director. I don’t know how he can top it. The performers are having a great time and that transmits to the screen. That is also a credit to the director. It’s also the first film I’ve seen in a long while where I didn’t have the urge to fast-forward. As to Damian the performer, he is charming and lovable in the Behind the Scenes and as the film progressed I did learn to like him in DAMIAN IN HAWAII, but I still like him ever so much better in another state.
