The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects come and go. The audio is normally clear and well balanced, with few signs of background noises or any other problems. The video is a bit more problematic. It’s normally nicely lit, but there are a few areas where shadows do interfere slightly. The bigger problem is the pixelation. Most of the movie is nicely clear, but a few areas have some very noticeable pixelation which definitely interfered with the video.

Menus: As usual, Red Light District has put some nice effort into their menus. The main menu is nicely organized with a bit of the movie and the chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on the leading lady in each scene.

The Extra Stuff

To start with, there’s trailers for a ton of Red Light District’s other features. The photo gallery includes about two dozen great looking snapshots and full screen photos which advance each three seconds. The behind the scenes footage lasts about seven minutes. It’s a very nice mix of footage. You get a little of Erik talking with girls such as Anastasia between shots and with Katja Kassin during her still photos. There’s also a bit of the scenes being shot. It’s a short behind the scenes featurette, but it does give you a little bit of everything. The only problem with it is that some of the footage, mostly the footage of Katja, is very pixelated.
