The Abridged Version: Here we have a film with an inane title literally sold in a package featuring one single glamour shot of a girl on the cover. The girl, of course, looks rather enticing. Rent or buy the film, pop in the DVD, and you find that there is no storyline or even vignettes. There is just plain brightly lit sex set in rooms that look all too familiar. The facials are big, the penetration shots plentiful, the nastiness meter moderate to high (1 cream pie, no anal), and the girls amazingly energetic. The girls also all look like they could be teenagers, though the majority of them are actually into their twenties. I am, of course, talking about Cum Craving Teens 2, but in reality I could be talking about any random contemporary gonzo film. After all, nowadays if you’ve seen one gonzo you’ve seen them all thanks to the ridiculous homogenization that has occurred ever since Red Light District came into being. However, then you sit down and watch the damn DVD again and remember something: it’s about the girls, stupid. Yes, there is a sad lack of creativity in today’s porn market, but if the girls are hot and eager to fuck on camera you’ll keep coming back (of course, if that’s true then you can longer legitimately complain about the quality of current porn). And this particular anonymous DVD has three scorchers: Sunny Lane, Destiny Deville, and Taryn Thomas. Actually, there are four if you count Eva Angelina, which you should if you don't mind her implants. Sunny and Taryn are easily two of if not the two most promising newbies of 2005 while Destiny is a girl who doesn’t get enough attention. The only letdown is Finesse Navarro’s somewhat mundane scene that could have benefited from some cuts.

Scene 1: Eva Angelina (cover girl) w/Mark Ashley (27 minutes)

Something funny happens when you see the gorgeous Eva Angelina away from still photographs and in this new thing called moving pictures: you realize that her breasts are indeed implants. Eva isn’t the first porn star to opt for plastic surgery nor will she be the last. The best I can say for her is that she didn’t get butchered. With her augmented chest and decision to wear more make-up, she reminds me quite a bit of Gina Ryder now. The bad thing? I could never get past Gina Ryder’s augmented chest despite her gorgeous face. Eva, with slight red highlights in her hair, starts off in panties and a short blue shirt. She plays with herself and talks into the camera about her tight pussy or some teen-related shit. Scene 2: Sunny Lane w/Brian Surewood (23 minutes)

We go from a girl I was crazy about two years ago (before the implants) to a girl I am crazy about now: Sunny Lane. Ms. Lane, a former ice skating instructor, is a strawberry blonde that resembles the long retired Cherry Mirage (aka Stryc-9) in more ways than one. Same pale white skin, same color and style of hair, same mouth size, same truly amazing round ass, same natural bust (though Sunny’s breasts are smaller yet firmer) same propensity for wearing plaid skirts, and similar face. We do get to hear her screaming, “Fuck me harder! Fuck me harder!” and other bits that seem silly yet aren’t. In fact, she’s going to keep up this kind of dirty talk the whole scene, with it usually boiling down to her excitingly describing what Mark is doing to her. Things really pick up in intensity during doggy and it continues on through reverse cowgirl and missionary. Then, before you want it to happen, Mark pulls out to reveal that he has delivered a big internal creampie, which Destiny expels impressively. I’m not a cream pie fan myself so I would have rather seen Destiny get a facial. With all due respect to Sunny, this is the scene of the tape so far.

Scene 4: Taryn Thomas w/Dick Tracy (18 minutes)

Whether you get it or not, Taryn Thomas is the new “it” girl in porn. She’s got jet black hair, and a model’s face. She’s also got a smile that lights up a room. However, just as important she loves sex and performing for the camera seems to come naturally to her. Put Nikki Loren’s face on Keri Sable’s body and give her something similar to Kami Andrews’ energy. That’s Taryn Thomas. However, this is not the scene to use as an introduction as it is one of her weaker ones to be released thus far simply due to its brevity. She, too, talks into the camera, but it is cut short as is her masturbation and blowjob portion. Before we know it, Dick is fucking her in missionary on a white couch so hard that she has to use one of her hands to brace herself on the floor to keep from being pushed off the couch. They do mish, reverse cowgirl, and doggy. She takes a decent load on the face, even delaying any reaction to the cum near her right eye long enough for the camera to fade out. I am surprised to say this, but this scene is actually a bit of let down after Destiny. Then again, how can looking at Taryn Thomas ever really be a let down? I do look at Taryn here, though, and worry that down the road she too might be tempted to get implants and I think, “If she does go there, please let the end result look as good as Juli Ashton, or at least better than Eva Angelina.”

Scene 5: Finesse Navarro w/Lee Stone (25 minutes)

Finesse is a Latina that really does little for me, with her petite build and attractive face. Her tease is okay, and her blowjob sloppy. My attraction to her does increase as the scene progresses, indicating that either I’m horny or she’s a fairly solid performer. A little from column A, a little from column B. The DVD: All of the technical aspects seem to be in check. The extras consist of a photo gallery, trailers, phone ads, and a bonus scene with Kayla Marie that deserved to be relegated to “bonus” status.

Final Thought: Take away Sunny Lane, Taryn Thomas, and Destiny Deville and put in three other girls and my review would have been different. Here’s what I might have written: Zak Wylde and crew have delivered a perfectly average product here. Perhaps I am asking too much of this one, seeing as how it accomplished exactly what it set out to be which is unspectacular shelf filler that will sell pretty well and get people off. But is the fact that this looks so much like everything else out there a good thing or bad thing? Wylde does admittedly show more promise, due to his sometimes creative use of angles, than David Luger, Robbie Fischer, Corey Jordan, Dale Jordan, Sal Genoa, and Tim Von Swyne, and is all ready more proficient than the pathetic Sean Michaels, who is better off just being a performer. As such, he should continue to be a perfectly average pornographer. Then again, this did star Sunny, Taryn, and Destiny. So, I guess I can’t say any of that. But if you aren’t a fan of those girls then maybe it’s best that you read that.
