Initial Expectations: Part of me is a little nervous about this one, but another is really looking forward to it after looking at the female cast.

Initial Reaction: It’s pretty good, but the music holds it back a lot.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio doesn’t seem to be balanced to bad, but the music is so loud that you can’t really tell. The video has some very slight grain and there’s a couple flashes of remnants, but that’s about the only complaint I can have about it. It’s nicely lit and the few shadows that are there feel completely natural.

Music: The audio has a harder edge to it, and is way too loud. You can barely hear the dialogue in the scenes when there’s music, let alone actual sex sounds.

Menus: As usual, it looks like David Crawford had a lot of fun with the menus. The main menu has some nice animation and gives a great first impression to the DVD. It has a long lead-in, but those who want to cut right to the chase only have to hit their menu button again to be taken directly to the menu. The chapter menu lets you choose a scene based on a small clip and a title for the scene.

The Feature: Azlea Antistia is a private investigator sent into a psychiatric hospital to investigate the doctors. There’s been several reports of doctors the doctors having sex with the patients, videotaping it, and selling it, among other things. Her only hope is new doctor Lauren Montgomery, who isn’t sure whether to believe Azlea’s story or not.

Super cute brunette Azlea Antistia start things off giving warden John Decker a lap dance while stripping for him. Since she’s at his mercy, he gets to ignore the “no touching” rule and then carries her over to his couch to give her the proper porno thank you while Jim Enright records it with his video camera. John eats Azlea’s pussy as she writhes around on the couch before finally letting her show her gratitude orally. Azlea gets into her oral duties just as much as she got into receiving, and soon lays back on John’s desk for him to fuck her. Finally, John decorates Azlea’s nicely implanted tits. It’s a long scene, but works pretty well. Sadly, the music is so loud that you can barely hear any of the sounds of the scene, including moaning.

Kaite Gold and Rayveness get busy in their cell next. Rayveness crawls up to Katie’s bunk and lets her mouth run wild across Katie’s body. Rayveness crawls forward to straddle Katie’s face so she can return the favor while continuing to play with Katie’s pussy, and finally bends over for Katie to take care of her. They finish things with a passionate kiss with things feeling surprisingly complete, which isn’t something I’m used to seeing in a lesbian scene. It’s a great scene with very nice energy and chemistry. I’ve liked Rayveness for a long time, and scenes like this are why.

Mikki Taylor and Sindee Coxx get it on in the infirmary for the third scene while T. T. Boy videotapes them. Sindee takes charge right away, pushing Mikki onto her back for easy eating, and hopping off to suck some cock when T. T. decides to put down his camera. They warm each other up orally before T. T. starts fucking Sindee while Mikki rides her face. Mikki gets her turn in the middle, with T. T. fucking her from behind while she plays with Sindee. Mikki also spends a little time on her back before T. T. pops on her stomach. It’s an okay scene that didn’t do too much for me. There’s some decent chemistry, but it seemed to concentrate on close-ups a bit much for my tastes.

Renee La Rue strips down and gets dressed in fishnets and fetishy lingerie while Kyle Stone gets the video camera ready to start out the penultimate scene. As soon as she’s dressed, Kyle lets his tongue go to work on Renee’s pussy and then takes his time letting Renee put her great oral skills to work. Finally, he lets her ride him reverse cowgirl style in his chair and bangs her from behind on the desk before popping on her tits. It’s a pretty good scene with nice energy. It drags a little at times, but Kyle and Renee have such great chemistry and energy that it still works out.

Finally, Azlea Antistia and Lauren Montgomery celebrate putting away the bad guys. After some brief kissing, they work each other over with their tongue and fingers. Lauren kicks things up a notch by fucking Azlea with a dildo, and then lets Azlea return the favor with another dildo. It’s a very hot scene and easily one of the best in the feature. Azlea and Lauren have great chemistry together, as well as more than a little energy. It even feels like it comes to a pretty natural conclusion rather than feeling cut off. This is a great scene to end the movie with, and a definite high note.

Crazy Like a Fox is a pretty decent porno. There’s a lot of talent here, and it’s put to good use. Unfortunately, the music is so loud throughout it that I couldn’t get into many of the scenes despite some good chemistry and energy. The sounds from the sex scenes are just loud enough to act as a tease, and left me a little disappointed at the end of each scene. It’s too bad, since Azlea does a great job in both her scenes, and despite the problems here, I really want to see more of her. The rest of the cast also does a good job, with the group scene faltering a little more than the rest for me. Crazy Like a Fox is a pretty good porno, but could have been a lot better with a little more care.

There’s also star galleries for Azlea Antistia, Katie Gold, Rayveness, Sindee Coxx, Renee La Rue, Mikki Taylor, and Lauren Montgomery. Most of the star galleries last about two minutes, and almost all of the photos look to come from the feature.

Finally, there’s a three and a half minute blooper reel. Quite a few of them involve Jim Enright, but there’s quite a few flubbed lines and a few sexual bloopers as well. It’s a nice extra, and definitely helps out the overall pacakge.

Overall: Currently, Crazy Like a Fox can be found online for between about $20 and $30 with all but one stores offering it near the bottom end. This seems a little high for what you get here. Although there’s some decent extras, the movie itself is pretty standard. The transfer appears well done, but the music is so loud that you can’t hear a good portion of the movie. Rent this one before you buy it.

Note to Wicked: It’s nice to see you bringing out extras like the blooper reel on some of your older titles. This would have been a lot better if the music were balanced with the rest of the audio better.
