The other teases have synthesized soundtracks but I think the guitar is more effective because it's so much more organic in comparison. Performance-wise, the scene was a bit weaker for me than the others, I think it was because of a lack of chemistry between the two players. THE BOTTOM LINE |
This is a nice, solid flick. Tyrone Shuz does an expert job with everything from elegant costumes, to beautiful settings, to well framed camera shots, to professional lighting, to sensible music, to artistic vision. Everything was super except I wanted more energy out of the performances.
I was watching another movie, and the director interjected during the action- "Energy," he said in an authoritative voice. It was sloppy- he didn't even bother editing his command out from the finished project. But it seemed to work though, something so simple. The energy level was great throughout his movie.
Heaven forbid you would see such sloppiness in a Tyrone Shuz movie. Yet the energy isn't quite where it needs to be. Still, the girls can carry it with their beautiful looks and the help of Shuz's topnotch camera stylings. Good but not great.
