Initial Expectations: I've barely seen any of this series, so I'm trying to go into this one with an open mind. That said, there's a good enough cast here that I can't help but have some good hope!

Initial Reaction: It's a darn hot all girl release, and makes me think that I'm going to have to check out a lot more of Cousin Stevie's movies.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects are nicely done. The audio is pretty well balanced throughout the movie, but there are a few minor background noises from the judges as well as a couple minor balance problems. The video is presented in the full frame format, and looks quite nice. It's very well lit and barley has any grain. There's a little motion to the camera work, but it's very minor and never interfered with the action for me.

Music: None

Menus: The main menu does an okay job of blending the boxcover with a clip from the movie. The chapter menu is very generic, and just lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a description of the sex in it.

The Feature

This is a great scene to finish things up with. Not surprisingly there's great chemistry all around and the girls all look and sound like they're having a fantastic time. The only real problem I had with this scene was the lack of Holly, who I really wanted to see in action again. I'm sure there's plenty of people who wanted more of Ariel as well, but she just didn't do as much for me as Holly did. The camera also gets a little tight on the groups and doesn't really allow any good “big picture” shots. That said, this is still a very well done orgy scene which worked for me a lot better than orgy scenes normally do.

Cousin Stevie's Pussy Party 18: Captive is a great all girl release. I'll admit that I was a little worried when I got into the movie a little and saw that it was going to be twelve to fifteen scenes with the movie being just over two hours long, but that fear quickly fell by the wayside. There's a couple scenes which feel a little cut off, but none of the scenes feel like they're being rushed through. Almost all of the scenes also feel like they finish with the girls being satisfied rather than the porno timer going off, which really says a lot for Cousin Stevie. There aren't many directors who seem to be able to wrap up a scene without a pop shot in a satisfying manner for me, but Cousin Stevie does it all but a couple times here. Sunny Lane and Eva Angelina really stood out for me here, but Jenna Presley and Charlie Laine were right there. Sadly, Holly Wellin ended up being a bit of a disappointment as she only got to work on herself and Ariel without ever getting anything back in return and never appeared in the threesomes and the orgy. That was easily my biggest disappointment in the movie, but thankfully the rest of the cast did a good enough job that it didn't seem like there was too much of a gaping hole left with her absence. Cousin Stevie's Pussy Party 18: Captive is an extremely hot all girl movie that puts the emphasis on chemistry and letting the girls show just how much they can do.

The Extra Stuff

The photo gallery includes about twenty good looking snapshots that advance automatically about every five seconds. Rather than including trailers on the DVD, it contains weblinks that require you to be logged onto the internet to check them out. There's also a behind the scenes featurette, bonus footage, and weblinks.

Eighteen minutes of black and white video bios are also included. Personality from the stars, laughs, and teasing from the girls are all here wrapped in a fun feeling with a touch of art due to the black and white footage. I really enjoyed this featurette.

The bonus footage lasts almost four minutes. As Jenna, Gianna, and Eva work each other over, Ariel warms herself up with a toy. Somebody watches and touches her a bit too, and there's also a bit of action from Eva, Jenna, and Gianna. This is a nice bit of extra footage.

The behind the scenes featurette lasts ten and a half minutes. Stevie starts things out talking about publicist problems due to a garage sale before Charlie goes off on the methheads in the industry. There's also a little fun with Jenna and Charlie about drinking before Ariel whines about not being liked and Sunny talks about why she likes traffic jams. Charlie returns to chat with Stevie while having a smoke before Stevie wanders the set and talks about the rougher side of porn. This is a pretty darn good behind the scenes. It does a very nice job of wandering the set and getting a little personality from a good portion of the cast. This is a well done behind the scenes featurette.

This is a great all girl DVD that's definitely worth checking out.
