There may be some joy to watching this beyond the joy of watching Savannah, though it is more of a fascination with how bad this porn can be in the context of how it is sold. I can’t help but wonder if the producers are clueless when it comes to fetishes or are just playing a money-making prank on fetishists. An accurate title for this DVD would be “A Hot, Petite Brunette Gets Fucked on a Couch by a Muscular Dude and We Haphazardly Add Some Stuff so We Can Sell it as Fetish Porn, Whatever That Is.”

It is a bad sign when during the opening credits the producers show a timer that counts UP. Yep, they even botched the very concept of a countdown. From there they botch a simple theme. While the back cover says about an hour countdown where the man can’t cum before time is up or he gets fired, the opening scene actually features the female boss setting a timer for 5 minutes then clearly stating the time starts right away. Granted, even 5 minutes could be a challenge given how hot Savannah is, but in the next 10 minutes or so the guy’s cock is barely touched. In fact, part of that time consists of Savannah riding around on the guy’s back like he is a pony. After that there is little that makes this feel like fetish porn until the 5 minute timer is introduced again, but also botched again as the guy under threat of being fired if he cums utters the typical responses of a guy eager to cum.

So much of Countdown to Pain feels like producers who have no understanding or appreciation of fetishes thought they could easily produce fetish porn. There is no real countdown to pain. It is more appropriately a countdown to relief, and that is still a stretch. The cover has the words "Smothering-Facesitting", but while there is pussy licking it is a stretch to call if facesittling and an even further stretch to call it smothering. In the description it sounds like an orgasm denial DVD, but, as already pointed out, the producers botch a fairly simple model for an orgasm denial model.
